up by the registers we were just coming in heading back towards the seasonal dept. I THOUGHT that was you but of course I didn't want to make an idiot out of myself by yelling hey REDBEAR or YOU DIG? only to find out it was someone else.
that reminds me, I wanted to get to Walgreens or Target for the after Valentines leftovers..... when I was a kid Walgreens used to have carts of Valentines leftover chocolate heart boxes for 1/2 price - it was awesome. They have seemed to balance what they need nowadays and not much is ever left. Target got tricky at ALL of the holidays if anyone else has noticed... the day after a holiday they take all the goodstuff and put it in the backroom and pull out all the crappy stuff, ie: stupid halloween t-shirts and plastic crap.
Yep, that was me. Earlier, with all of those stuffed animals that sing and dance as you walk in, I went over to them, and this little kid was there too. I pressed all the buttons to make them sing and then I walked away, and I think the kid got yelled at by his dad. I felt terrible. Funny, but terrible... :neutral:
Our Target donates much of that stuff (that they pull off the shelves) to our local Goodwill. You might try poking around any thrift stores in the vicinity. Often, the Target price stickers are still on, but the prices are marked way down. I've even seen my favorite pricey (well, pricey for Target, anyway) socks there, once the season has passed for that weight.

Happy Monday is right! I have been down for the count with a flu bug for the last week and I was finally able to get out and run some errands today. It is sad to say that the hunt seems so long ago. I miss wearing long underwear! :crying:
