I know about half our hunting group has March birthdays I've always wondered if that was like the movie where everyone at the motel who were killed had the same birthday
Funny, people are saying "not this weekend" and now this is the weekend I find myself with nothing to do. We were going to go out of town but couldn't drum interest for a group trip and decided not to spend the money on just the two of us going somewhere. Still, if anyone is interested in playing games or maybe seeing a movie tonight, let me know. I'll be checking the board throughout the day.
What gorgeous weather we're having and especially for March.
After a day of doing some closet cleaning and bathroom painting yesterday, we went to my Mom's, got her balcony cleaned up, got her summer clothes out and had some dinner with her.
Just on the drive over and back, we saw many folks raking and doing yard cleaning.
Sure hope that means we won't be getting anymore snow.
Holy cow! I turned on the cam and got a close up of mamma eagle staring right at me! That's very cool. I've never seen the camera get in that close before.
This is one of the best eagle cams I've ever come across.
Glad you got such a great view, OT. It isn't always zoomed in that close, but sometimes they do zoom it. They also have video and still shots you can find on that page, of some of the important events they've captured, and blogs by the naturalists. When they band the eaglets (at several weeks of age) they show live video of the naturalists making their way up into the tree, to the nest, bringing the eaglets down to examine them, take blood, band them, and return to the nest - it is just an awesome thing to watch!
although I do have some kinda faint memory of leaning against a lightpost, and then jumping a fence, after hearing some security guards yelling at me to stay where I was.....
Unlike CM, who didn't answer my question about whether he was wearing his "birthday suit".
> And Eags did not look away...
