Funny story... years ago we were on our way back from somewhere and my parents were going on and on about the Brass Rail and it's broasted chicken and how back in their hell raising days they would go there all the time... so we stopped there to eat. The waitress comes take orders .. Dad- chicken, mom-chicken, sis- chicken, other sis- chicken..... me.... "Uh I'll get a cheeseburger".. Dad - "no you won't-she'll get the chicken"

Wife's uncle is big into the union and marches every year. I was with the union postal workers as opposed to the mgmt. float. For those that were at the parade, Hunnybear's uncle was the postman wearing shorts.
Oh gosh, as soon as I read that, I'm thinking this would be John you are talking about! I think he is my brother's age (would he be about 60-61 now?) so I never knew him really well, but I remember him from church youth group days.
I learned to eat cheese burgers with an over-easy egg years ago eating at Neuman's in NSTP. They were muy expensive, and the burgers were better (greasy, moist) at Mac's across the street, so I started going over there and having John custom make me burgers.
I so wanted to buy the Midnight Special DVDs... But just can't afford it. The first DVD and book is only $10 plus shipping and handling. But then every 4 to 6 weeks you get 2 DVDs at the regular price - $20 each. OUCH!
Remember Midnight Special? I lived for that and SNL - The Broccoli Song, Eddie Murphy being Buttwheat (that's where I got "Otay."), the Coneheads, Steve Martin being a wild and crazy guy looking for American chicks, Beluchi serving up "cheeseboogers" at the diner - "No Coke! Petsey!"
I just learned hornbills don't drink water (getting moisture from what they eat). That and knowing tapirs only deficate in water makes me very special and smart!!!
I am in no way at all a Vikings follower or big football fan. But when it gets down so close like this, I can't help but get excited and watch.
My favorite player is Benny Sapp. He and I have somewhat of a history; he played with Little Richard Carter - my fav football player - at UNI. Oh, how I loved watching Little Richard play.
So, Benny's my guy. And I'm xcited for the Vikes and Benny. I'm so scared! I want the Vikings to win so bad!
