Shoot the Breeze With the Cooler Crew - Ableminds Edition

Eags

I suppose I should post this in the technical site, but I think this is a more general knowledge thing, especially with how widespread Word Use is.

I was given a template to use to create a report.

The tables seem to be all joined together, even though I am supposed to be able to insert descriptive text between them.

I mean, the tables do not appear to be joined until I try to insert text between them!

If anyone knows a way I can fix this, I'd sure appreciate any tips.

Thanks!

Eags, if you mean joined that there isn't any open space between them, you could try this:

Select the group of cells that are going across the page by highlighting them.

Right click after they are all highlighted and select merge cells.

You should now be able to create text in that space. The space should expand as needed to hold all the text.

Hope this helps.

Why'd you doctor the pic and take out the Piece O'Lucite he was born with in his hand??????????

There is space between the tables, but when I try to type text in there, it is formatted all wrong and I can't see how to fix it.

The reason I think the two tables are joined somehow is that when I tried to split some cells in the next table, what I did to one table happened to both tables.

there are still a couple chances ahead for a Hunter in the CoolerClan... just remember Caroline and Nick are having a BAYBEE too!! however, I think they would look more twords naming him/her Joseph or Josephine (Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope) and at least have a WWF nickname! FUN!

however, IF Jake ever has a son, I believe Hunter is at the top of the list. Treasure would be pretty for a girl.

Sarah asked me if Olympic gold medals are made of all gold...

Gold is at about $1095 an ounce

6 g = 0.212 oz

thats less than 25% of an ounce

so gold in a Olympic gold medal is worth about $200 bucks today

check this out:

http://www.vbs.tv/watch/motherboard/2010-medals-turning-circuit-boards-into-olympic-gold

I read that:

past gold medals are solid silver with gold plating; the plating must have a minimum weight of 6 grams.

The last Olympic gold medals that were made entirely out of gold were awarded in 1912.

The Beijing Olympic gold medals also have a ring of jade inset on the reverse side of the medal with an intricate dragon design.

gold and silver medals must be made from 92.5 percent silver

gold medals must be plated with at least six grams of gold.

However, all medals must be at least 60mm in diameter and 3mm thick.

Some medals for recent games have been larger. Like the 2002 Olympics in Salt Lake City. The gold and silver medals awarded there were the heaviest ever created, measuring 85mm in diameter and 10mm thick and weighing in at 20 ounces.

First presented by International Olympic Committee in 1908 (until then winners received silver medals)..second and third place finishers also got medals of silver and bronze for first time in 1908.

Medals were not awarded at the Ancient Olympic Games.

At the 1896 Summer Olympics, winners received a silver medal and the second place finisher received a bronze medal.

In 1900, most winners received cups or trophies instead of medals.
