I could swear I just saw Red Bear on AFV, a dead ringer. There were two other guys in the clip but their faces were blurred. They were to the left, behind the Red Bear twin talking to each other. They looked like Jake and Ares.
I could swear it was Red Bear. Same height and build, too. Ditto on the guys that looked similar to Jake and Ares.
Shoot! That would be a cool trip too. I love Chicago. Unfortunately I have other commitments for the weekend. I could do it during this week tho.
I still have some Spirit of Carnival tickets left - but they are going fast... Only $25 to sample fine wines, great beers and some of the best food from our local restaurants (all while supporting the Winter Carnival). Contact me to get your tickets!

there will be a brass band (first time they've had one there, in close to 20 years), and Carolyn will be a part of it, playing alto....

At the wrap up for my Mock Hunt at Gabe's we were doing trivia questions and I mentioned that I regularly participate in something called a "Pub Quiz". Me2 did it with me once years ago. Basically you have a team of up to 5 people sitting at a table in a big room. The host of the quiz reads questions over a microphone and each team decides on the right answer and writes it on their answer sheet. There are usually 10-12 questions per round. At the end of the round, they collect the answer sheets and correct them. Later on, they give you the correct answers and tell you your score. There are 6 rounds altogether with one round being a picture round and one being a music round. The top three or four teams generally win prizes.
So Brit's Pub in downtown Minneapolis is doing one tomorrow night and I see they still have room for more teams. I'm committed to a team already, but I thought if there were 5 trivia buffs out there who'd like to get together and take on this challenge, it might be fun to try. Someone would just need to call Brit's and reserve a spot. Sorry to say though, no googling allowed during the quiz.
Remember the old days when you used to be able to come in here in the morning and get some doughnuts? Now all there is to eat around here is a stale peanut from an old Nut Goodie. Where's Artmeis when you need her?
hey Eags, I sent him an e-mail with my phone number. thanks.

How weird.
Sooooooo - anyone still want to go to Target (Twins) Stadium on Saturday for the Gopher Game?
If not, I got some brush piles at my parents' place that need burnin' before it gets too dry out. Someone speak up soon!
Tough call.
Enjoy!
Anyone in the Dwtn Mpls area want to do lunch today?
Have fun and say hello to everyone for me!! (and tell them I am sorry again for not being able to book them - I have already emailed them all too)
