They did the pet scan yesterday to find out how far the cancer had spread. Great news is that it hasn't spread at all. It's faily new and only one of the lumps was cancerous.
Now for the bad news, while they can take care of that with no issues and a simple surgical procedure, they also found on other issue.
Seems my Grandmother ALSO has a Brain Aneurysm.
So.... this accident got her to get an Xray that found the cancer early enough to beat which lead us to the Brain Aneurysm early enough that we can keep her from having a stroke.
They have to run some more tests to make sure her heart can handle all this major surgery shes has lined up now but wow.
Lots of bad news.... but amazing how we found it before it was too late.
That there is the reason why my wife is afraid to go in. She doesn't want to know a thing. Is afraid that more things will pop up. Personally I'd want to know so I can address the issues instead of waiting for that bomb to go off unexpectedly.
that really sucks, otis. are they gonna do surgery for the aneurysm? tc's grandpa had 2 of them taken care of a couple of years ago and did very well with the surgery. he's had several heart attacks and didn't have any problems with his heart due to the surgery. hope this helps you guys, or at least comforts you.
I liked the books a bit better than the movie, but it was good too. Would be cool if they did restaurant at the edge of the universe, but I'm not sure if it'll happen (besides they'd have to veer way off of the book to try and bring it back around).
If i can avoid reading... other than say the zillion wrestling autobiographies I own, or like... some of the free magazines I get in the mail, or city pages.....or sections of the paper (funnies, on sunday, cause they're in color, the horoscopes, etc) every now and then... I seldom read anything...
Yeah, only because they've updated it for the times. Gordon deals drugs now and Susan's been knocked up three times from various muppet extras.
reading through some old winter carnival facts from a 1986 winter carnival calendar I got (it has tons of old info on the carnival). The melting 1947 ice palace was attacked by vulcans (duh) and a P-51 fighter which made repeated passes. Thought that was interesting, would've been cool to see.
I keep looking for job's down here and there aren't any that pay well, so I think I am going to start a Mural Business I just sent for a book "How to Start a Faux Painting or Mural Business: A Guide to Making Money in the Decorative Arts" at least it's low over head all I need is paint.
Well I got a temp fence put up for the dogs this weekend. we had a guy give us an estimate on a chain link fence he wants $3,000.00, I told Dawg I will put one up myself in the spring for a fraction of that.
you know what would be an excellent money maker? web design. you should really hone your flash and dreamweaver skills and be a freelance web designer. I personally freaking hate it, but i've made some good money doing sites for people, and what's nice is most web pages need updating, so there's follow up money besides the initial design fee!
I'm baaaaaack!!!!! didja miss me? huh? huh? huh? didja? didja? didja? LOL just kidding. I missed you guys sooooooo much!! My computer took a crap on me, but... after weeks of tweaking... and having absolutely NO idea wtf I was doing.. lol I some how got it up and functioning again, and here I am. Not only that, but I just needed to take some time out for myself and Mark. It's been a really trying time for the 2 of us, and we needed to be there for each other more than anything. It's just so great to be back!! I'm so excited!!!
