after visiting the neighbors haunted yard, tc and i decided we had to start stocking up for a haunted house of our own when the youngest one gets a bit older. might have to get with zeph and figure out how to best turn a half acre of land into a nice haunt. complete with dry ice for fog, and about 10000 watts of sound
Nice recovery there, Kitch! About the long front walks, they noticed some kids passing their place because they're set back a bit farther than the other houses on their side of the street. I think that's funny. Kids will walk miles trick or treating, but won't walk an extra few feet.
This struck me as funny. The news gal just reported that a bank was robbed yesterday by a woman with dry, wrinkly skin and long black hair with ragged cut bangs. Duh! Suppose it was a Halloween costume??
I didn't get Ali this year as she would only go up to houses that had their front light on but also needed to have some sort of Halloween decoration or pumpkin displayed. Otherwise, forget it. She did get to hit those Halloween houses two and sometimes three times because of going out with different kids though.
Change - but not the $$$. I will actually be starting out a little less than what I'm currently making.
The situation where I work now is that there were two positions that they reconfigured and combined into one in April. I am the 4th person to be there since that time and I'm the 4th person to leave. There is no way to get everything done that needs doing and the craziness that goes on there is beyond words.
I could stay and play the game, but I have too many years yet before retirement to dread going to work each day.
After debating on whether to get the Episode III coin from Target, the lithograph from Best Buy or Bonus DVD from Walmart, I decided to get the bonus DVD. I'm happy to let you know that I wasn't disappointed. Other than being kinda bummed out that they didn't use the enhanced footage, that bonus DVD was a nice recap that the kids could grasp in 12 minute intervals for each episode.
The only thing I didn't like was my own fault in that I bought the full screen version of III instead of the widescreen. I'll need to fly back there tomorrow. Lucas has it sewn in a bag with his franchise. I had a decent ripped/burned version of III the day it came out in the theaters but I still needed to buy the original so it goes with my set(s). I'm sure I'll buy the entire box set next Christmas as well. He's worse than KISS as far as marketing goes.
At Target we saw a DVD that was just about the group of people who waited 6 weeks in line. I wonder if the people we spoke to on the pay phone are on there?
big thank you on the starwars dvd information-sometimes its nice to have a geek around  -- beans hugs the tv everytime the commercial comes on for the release of it- its in her top 10 favorite movies ever .... gonna have to look into getting it for her- and it was great at the theatre  ... widescreen is the only way to go
Could some of you computer whizzes help me out with something? I have Outlook Express 6 and everytime someone sends me a picture from their digital camera, the picture is huge. You can only view like 1/10 of the picture at a time. I tried to left click and right click and the scrollbar thing. I've looked for some reducing icon and percentage icon - nothing. I've tried to figure this out with file, edit, tools, view, help, - still lost. Please help.

Hey Saints - I'll bet you 10 to 1 that you ended up with the remnants of the bonus sticker on your bonus DVD. Not too smart packaging. I also ended up tearing part of the actual case plastic when trying to remove the fricken security bullshit. Thanks Mr. Lucas. I'll probably make my 3rd return because of it. Hopefully he'll get 1000's back with messed up packages to show that the security BS isn't all it's cracked up to be.
well...guess I'm going disc golfing...
CONGRATS TERRY!!!!!
I forgot, what are the hunting ramifications?
It's worth it though. I need the change in a big way.
Congrats TV!! - I would assume the word change has two different meanings in this case too.

This is a mentally healthy change.
