haven't seen green around since last february, randy. frosti runs around here when he's got the chance, but he's been spending a bit of time in non-ppwc folders here. ddave's been in and out a little bit. i think he's shown up in the last month or so. frosti can tell you where rc is i'm sure. as for dal, there are a handful of us who know where she's at, but we're not at liberty to say. something about whips and chains if we talk.
I'm not saying that you don't have any recourse, just that if you bought from a private party and not through an agent or company, prior to 1/1/03, private sellers didn't need to disclose any problems with the real estate unless asked in writing or through an inspection. They now require ALL sellers to fill out a form stating if there are any problems with the home or property. And if they are found at fault and signed the paper stating otherwise, they will be held liable. There have obviously been way to many court cases such as yours tying up the system when a simple document could take care of the whole issue. If you bought through an agent, more then likely the seller was forced to sign the agreement anyway as a standard procedure. Good luck Chem.
I knew about this new law from the news and experienced it first hand during the refinancing that I'm currently in (I find out at 3:00 today!!) That form slowed my process down by a week because we didn't need it prior to 2003 and now we do. It's kinda funny that I needed to disclose any problems with the property to myself being both the seller and the buyer. Oh, well. I think it's a pretty good common sense law that many people already thought was on the books.
Well I do know one thing that I've learned: No matter how nice the people seem, they still may try to screw you. Also now I know alot of the laws so I know now what to look for.
Sh!t, I wouldn't even think about buying this dump if everything had to be disclosed. Heck, I might even sue myself after I discover all the damage.
heck, even without the disclosures i don't think i'd buy most places. at least not without taking my brother through the place to tear it apart beforehand.
my grandpa had a stroke. they put him on the respirator, but they werent supposed to because he has a living will. they were going to take him off of it, but he is in florida so we cant see him. pray for him and my dad and aunts and uncles and grandma please.
Sorry Tim :( grandparents are extremely important! Why don't you just go down there? I wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to see him one last time...they say people can hear even unconscience.
My aunt was on a boat on her honeymoon when my grandma was in the hospital...they put the phone up to grandmas ear for my aunt to say goodbye.
Being on bedrest has given her toooo much time to think. And it doesn't help that she sits and watches Dope Operas and Lifetime. AKA: Depression TV.
Lately I've been trying to get her to watch the Game Show network. Match Game is hilarious. I also like Friend or Foe, Lingo, Russian Roullet. It's fun to see the other old games also. To check out the close styles, the popular people on the shows. On Match Game half the things they do would never go over in todays TV. Sexual Harassment would be yelled within the first 5 minutes. The Newlywed game probably is the best for guests giving the most outrageous answers like this: Where is the wierdest place that you've made whoopie? Lady contestants answer: That'd be up da butt Bob. (Classic)
hahahhaha- looks like you have sattelite tv! I get to see those gameshows when I go up to the lake- I only have dumb cable here. makes mental note: get a hold of Marley after the hunt.
Finally got through slogging...and wondering what it's going to be like during the hunt. I'll never get caught up then.
Day 2 of our audit went okay, but the rest of the day sorta sucked.
A woman I work with whose son is stationed at Ft. Bragg got word yesterday that he's being deployed to the middle east. She's worried and upset. If the leader of this country had sons instead of daughters, perhaps alternative peaceful methods would be found to solve the problems over there. That's all I'm saying about that subject for now.
For all the time the auditors took of my time today, in order to get my work done, I was at work for an extra 2 1/2 hours tonight.
Can I tell yaz?!? I'm soooooo glad to finally be here.

P.S. - Is this Joe worthy? I'm not sure so I wanted to run it past you before I said anything first. ;-}
It might be easier without the snow this year
We'll still need to use our rakes and shovels, but just for what they were intended for is all.
Hi MedHound! It very well could be, but I hope it goes longer than last year!
Frosti my lover???
Yoo-hoo! Sexy girlfriend!
I don't care if it only goes 6 clues this year, as long as I'm the one who finds it. :-)
Allison, thanks for the link from the news letter!
No problem. Just trying to get everyone together.

hello
I have a prediction....
the letter M & E will be in the finders screen name or name :)
I have both letters in my screen name AND my last name so that makes my odds better.

That leaves about 10 people
1 in 10 are good odds for ME2!
hey, and i have both in my last name too.....
So we have four times the luck!
cribbagehand JOE!
yes we do. let's put a bit of it to use here.
I have just one question...Do you feel lucky?
no words can obviously explain how you feel- I know, I know - speechless ;)
did i not satisfy you again?
I am always satisfied- who ever asked for your help?
