Even so... all you gotta do is explain to them that your not there to do any damage, and instead, just want to find the medallion, cause theres lots of loot/prizes at stake, and that your positiveyour in the right park.....even if your not positive.... or in the right park, for that matter.....

most cops ive had that conversation with, have been pretty cool about letting the hunting continue.....many of those times ive had face-paint on too, and thats even worse...

kinda sounds like a mental issue, doesnt it?

You can get away with alot during the hunt. The Conway one, my hubby ran 2 red lights, was pulled over by the cops, and he told them he was out digging for it, and had to go to the bathroom really bad. It was like 4:30 in the morning, and they let him go! Heheh. This was way over here in Richfield. Heheh. I love that story.

this past weekend ...I had an early "gift exchange" with my half of the family.

I think my wife did some great "prep" work for them.

I got a new pair of -135 F pac boots and 2 flashlights...(another led headlamp).

Now all I need is a good "mortar hoe" for diggin'...but I might not run out an buy it just yet...(no damn snow).

I might just get a "garbage poker".

Not as bright..but the batteries run forever.

probably bright enough to reflect off a little blue plastic puck. Unless of course it's in a pastry.

Just got back a while ago from seein a flick...

My sister won tix to a preview screening of "Coach Carter", starring Samuel L. Jackson, and a buncha other people you'll probably recognize from other stuff, but wont remember their names... It was pretty good... I recommend it... kind of a mixture of "Lean On Me" and "Remember The Titans".... so go see it or somethin, when it comes out.

Or dont.

Whatever.

We went to my uncle & aunts house the other night, cause a couple of my cousins were gathering over there for what one of them called a "Cosmic Karma Cleansing", which consisted of all of us sitting around their newely installed fire-pit in the backyard, and burning things that we associated with bad memories, bad luck, etc.... and writing a list of things we each want to change about ourselves in the upcoming new-year.....

so yeah.... even though im really not into all that, that was pretty cool.

Especially the burning part. Fire rocks.

The dumb-ass lure was there cuz it had caught a big Northern. Then it caught a bigger Finn, I cannot believe it healed so fast! I only hope that when I stand upon the upcoming medallion the pain goes away as quickly.

Not gonna happen. It's really not "officially" open 'till spring. But we can still look there I suppose. No worse than going to como the 1st day.
