Fart Bomb - just happens to be in yesterday or todays paper (I was reading both today) - Front Page: a gift idea for Ares ... underwear lined with charcoal to hide flatulation odors ;)

Saw that last night myself! Couldn't beleive it was actually in the paper!

My work really sucks big time now. After telling us all we were laid off and going to be paid for Jan because of the warn act and our last day was tomorrow, they have a notice up last night that we all have to work the month of Jan! (and still be laid off jan 31) Bastards! Nothing like jerking around your employees! Piss poor management!

Now I have to try and ask for time off for my wifes surgery that is schedualed this comming tuesday! I wonder what my chances are with no advance warning. I'm about ready to go postal!

But this is the kind of thing that makes people crack. After working all month after our "notice" and down to the 2nd to last day saying goodbye (and dealing with the stress everyone is under) to people you've worked with for 16 years (28 for some) they pull crap like this. Not sure I really
want
to work there any more! Every one that is staying all were supposed to be on 1st shift next week, and now told they are not! Kinda shows how much importance they place on the employees! Now people are forced to scramble for day care etc. What a joke! (exept it isn't funny at all)!

Mikey, BIG Bummer on the job...  Companies are such jerks.  So often the bottom line [profit] is more important than their humaniod resources.
