Muskwa,

Rob, Deirdre Hall is the queen of soap operas. She reigns on "Days Of Our Lives." She's also an identical twin.

Personally I think she is one of the most beautiful woman I have ever laid eyes on. and now you give me the news that she has an identical twin!!! ? I didn't know that, it's too much to take. Next I suppose you're going to tell me Shania Twain has a twin sister too. Hmmmm two of them, hmmmm.! Oh well back to reality :)

Got this one from today's Washington Post -- thought you'd like it:

IF MARCH 21ST IS YOUR BIRTHDAY ... you have wonderful sense of humor, possess intellectual curiosity and are attractive and seductive. Gemini, Sagittarius persons play important roles in your life, could have these letters in names: C, L, U. During this cycle, you are due for fresh start and possibility of "new love." During April, you will write and could receive exciting assignment. July most romantic, profitable for you this year.

Sagittarius-- Will start out in one park, then decide on a different one and dig there, then become convinced its an a totally different place and will rush off there. Does eventually get to the right place though.

Didn't druggies start rock and roll? Elvis died on the can as a result of better living through chemicals. The 60's, yeesh. Even the jazz and blues musicians in the 20's were known to toke the chronic.

FOR ARES!!! *sung loosely to the tune of an Irish ditty* "Oh, when you were 2, or 3, your Mommy would always see- that you got a party on your birthday. But now you're older, and more mature...at least, we're pretty sure, and shouldn't be treated like a baby!...Cause no one gives a sh** about your birthday anymore! It's just not important. And if you want the truth, it's simply a good excuse for your friends to all get drunk together!...And I'm sure that you'll agree, your brains start to atrophy, and sex refers to your gender only, So EVERYBODY! toast with me, a toast to SENILITY!, And we wish you a HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I present to you a milk chocolate pudding and almond whipped cream layered devils food cake decorated with strategically placed GREEN M&M's, and topped with the most decadent, and sinful Ben&Jerry's ice cream of your choice. Many Happy Returns Of The Day!!!

lesson the first, randy. playing the kiss and tell game. bad idea. i don't do it.

there's only 2 ways you'll know. either i announce that i got married, in which case theres a legitimate asusmption to be made. at the moment, the chances of me winning the powerball tomorrow nite are better than the chances of me getting married. i haven't bought a ticket yet. the other would be if i were to come in here and say i'm gonna be a daddy. refer back to previous statement.

I am up... all alone...and have prose in my head. To any of you who have time for prose, I'll call this "The Curve Ball" Just when you think you're alone in this world, you listen to a Cat Stevens song, and realise that you are not a lonely soldier on this planet. And when you think that this winter has been eternal, you wake up and see a spectrum in some crystal prism on a stop sign, or bush, or eave of some house.Just when you think that nobody cares, a really cool parking spot opens up, or a stranger lets you in line. And when you think that you are old, the radio will play a song to give you youth....And you understand that it is ALWAYS someone's birthday, and you are ALWAYS older, or younger than somebody, and it will ALWAYS rain, or snow, or be sunny, hot or cold, foggy, clear, windy, or humid ....somewhere on our earth. Our tomorrows are made up of yesterdays, and nostalgia violates even the most wary. Whether you are beginning life, living life, or in the memory of life, it gives you curve balls. You don't have to catch them, but to let life spin over your head, to see it zoom by, and grasp just a little bit as it passes... and REMEMBER!!!!...how it felt, what you did, who you involved, where you went...This is the grist of the mill, and like a treasure hunt, life on this earth will only reward you with your ability to noodle, give and receive afffections, solve problems, research, delve into the unknown, and not take to heart ANYTHING you consider worthy that does not pan out.Everything is worth a look see in life, and change, cooperation, and soul are what I wish, this evening, for all. MCL, &SCD's on this cold, Minnesota Spring night. Stay real, and go find an old tune to rev you up.KT

O goodness, Ares, I did not mean for the "prose" to in any way shadow your birthday! I'm just really tuning in on the fact that I'm NOT 25!

skiing was fun today. note to self: next time, don't be such a cheap-ass and use someone elses skis. especially if they're 2 sizes too small. your ankles will thank you later. i called it an early day because of that. of course thats why i've got a season pass :)

So we talked about setting up additional meetings throughout the year, not necessarily related to a specific hunting activity, but sometimes just a social gathering Maybe meeting for dinner, or possibly playing games. We had talked about once a month even. The last one was early March, so I'm thinking maybe early April. My weekend nights tend to get booked up with my singles club, but I was thinking maybe a Sunday afternoon/evening? Maybe even April 7th? Maybe meet for dinner somewhere? What do people think?

Good Morning.

Why does Monday always come around so quickly?

Ares - There are times when the bus is a better option. My oldest doesn't own a car. He either takes the bus or his bike. It works out pretty good for him - and no car expenses.

Mon, 03/25/2002 - 6:53 AM Permalink

terry, its just one of those personal things for me. my senior year at the u, i found that i could make it to school in 20 minutes in my own car, as opposed to 45 minutes to an hour on the bus. once i got a parking contract there, and it was actually cheaper to park than it was to ride the bus, it started to make even less sense. but thats just me.

Mon, 03/25/2002 - 7:10 AM Permalink
Frosti

Yep, but when I can ride the bus for $30 per month to downtown Minneapolis, it makes a whole lotta sense. I could barely make it for $30 a month in gas, and don't even get me started on parking costs downtown.

Mon, 03/25/2002 - 7:47 AM Permalink
ares

12 bucks a day is what my aunt pays in the field's ramp. i can definitely see where that makes sense frosti. when i rode the bus, i was paying 80 a month for the express pass. rode the 15 into downtown stpaul, got on a 94d to the huron blvd exit and a 16u in from there, and it was a 45 minute trip. and when i could pay 120 bucks a quarter for a ramp parking contract (85 or so for a lot contract) at the u, it simply didn't make sense to ride the bus.

what i always love is the annual porsche/bus race out 394 during the rush and the bus wins by 11 minutes. what a crock. lets make that bus ride one that involves a transfer somewhere in either downtown, and i guarantee that me and my car will win hands down, simply because the mass transit system in the twin cities is not designed for efficiency. and don't get me started on the crock that is light rail from the mall into downtown. the *first* place that should get light rail is an express corridor from downtown to downtown.
