Cory! How!! You need to pull your head out!!! Get on the WEB and do a search for Citizen Kane. The site you want is called Citizen Kane. It tells the story of "Rosebud". It has nothing to do with Thorn Street!!
Jenny Houle - Did you see the beginning of the last paragraph inside the front cover of the parks book? It reads "Hunter's Press is not liable for your inability to find fortune from this, however, we are certainly willing to share in your fortune should you run across it." I just thought it was a bit of a chuckler that I would share.
Jake, Hungry Mind on Grand ave, but I think it's not there anymore. Click search at the bottom of the screen, search for "steve worthman" He's the Hunter's Press guy and can tell you where to get the book (email him). DOGS, WE NEED DOGS.
Cory, the dog thing is from a story about a diaper at Hidden Falls some years ago...and my dog.
Gregg, I heard someone saying that if you use a fish finder transduser(sp) right over packed snow, you can see "fish" when something is buried. What gives? Your the fishing electronics guy.
Hey, I see what happens for a few minutes with my opinion. After that, it is information that could take my chances of winning, and give them to somebody else, like you. I'm doing the smart thing, watching the bottom line! By the way, why did it take you so long to respond!
I find this fun! The challenge of the hunt, and the pointless little conflicts that people get into for a few weeks. This is only my third year of searching, and I have already met a few people I will never forget. Hey, if we don't find it this year, we can always fight again next year about where it is. That is just part of the thrill of these Minnesota winters!
Good to see people still haven't settled on a park. 'Cause I'm pretty sure where it's at, but I don't want anyone to find it before I get out there to dig in the morning.
Facts are: it's either at Mounds or Cherokee.
But I think another look at the clues will show you the way.
And I bought the last "Treasurer Hunter's Guide" at the Hungry Mind on Wednesday night. Sorry! Better check with the author for your copy.
Sitting Bull - better stop sitting! You won't find anything! Wouldn't it be better to use another name, like possibly, Geronimo? (Couldn't think of another name!) Or, maybe, Charging Bull?
The calm before the storm. Ok, who's for Cher, who's for Mounds? I have to stick with Mounds, it's an old stomping ground. Also, if you look back, clues could point back to the stacks from Pigs (whoever said that already, take credit). 1 1/2 hrs...oh, my. I think #7 will give us a deciding fact to get everyone out over the weekend (w/fishfinders!).
I'm going with Mounds. The only thing I am not sure of is in the clue it uses stack (singular), if you look out from Mounds you can see more than one. If you look from Cher you can only really see the one stack. If anyone can make a clarification on the whole stack issue please do!
Doc, Mounds seems good, Cher bugs me because the reference to the large object and the stack clue. It seems redundant. Just like the stack"s" from Mounds. I'm still not convinced that we got all that could be gotten from #4. Delos or Dome? Too deep, too quick, just like a tractor-pull. 1hr 20mins....
Cherokee has several Minnesota "cities" that run into the park: Morton Street, Wyoming Street, and Winona Street. That could be the reference to clue #5.
Another posting by a very wired hunter(coffee only!). For you "JO" fans, the following:
"I've barred Joe Medallion from the treasure hunt discussion. If he comes back with a new name, contact me. I think we should have no problems over the weekend."
Does anyone think that it is going to be a small park as opposed to Mounds or Highland due to the fact that there have been six clues and very little agreement on where to focus the search?
I used to be so sure it was Highland, then Mounds, then Cherokee. But now I don't know what to think, and it's not worth much to go out digging if I don't know where it is! Last year was funner. :(
RED DOG, did the judge master and the wife go down to the St Paul hotel tonight? He was talking about going.

Most likely, Jenny, tomorrow's clue will have nothing to do with the location, I am guessing they will say whatever the medallion is in.
Cory, give it up now!!! You have no chance at all!!!
how about this dont blow your stack( meaning dont go in site of this, and the plume of smoke maybe from the pigs eye plant. near the
pavillion at mounds/
City streets show you the way- refers to Highland Parkway, Ford Parkway leading into the park??? I'm heading to Highland Park.
Sitting Bull,

Are there any other street/traffic signs in Mounds that might show the way?

No more that I can pull out now, but, hey, who knows what a little over an hour and a half will give us?
I'm for Mounds Park!
JB. theres lights on both sides of the road on earl st. and mounds from 94 which lead right to the pavillion. besides people and bike paths signs

Where is the dome visible in Highland?
I apologize in advance...but AOHELL? Not ever again. OK, I feel a lot better. Mounds it is, huh? We'll do live updates again when the clue comes out.

By the way, I am one of the few Rice Park fans?

Is anybody out there?
I'm out here...waiting for that next clue. It has to be at Mounds!
