I know that the clue comes out here at 11:30 and it's free, but I was wondering if any of you are going to go down to the press for the atmosphere? I usualy bring the new clue with me from here and show it to the people at the end of the line before they buy it. I'm only a few blocks away. Kinda fun. I saved one guy last night by giving him my printed copy from the net because I bought the last copy from the press. (last at that time, they ran and got more later). I have this compulsion to save all of the original clues from the newspaper itself.
Thanks a lot Casey for the tease. Also thanks for getting rid of that space consumer Joe Medillion. Hopefully him and his buddies will fade away. Are you downtown or at the actual press bldg?
My friends are out and they report finding a small box marked "code" sitting in a hole in the snow. They called me to see if it was found! I told the to keep going, It might be an evil person, trying to throw people off. I said, " it's not found 'till it's found!"
If anybody needs a "Treasure Hunters Guide" i have an extra copy. I'll be pulling in (Mounds?) around 11:45 in a blue volvo wagon. Not scalping, just 8 bucks. just honk twice to stop me.
cherokee, I think. They didn't tell me if they were going anywhere else. They said they were going there. they have my cell phone so I can give them the next clue in 20 minutes.
I'd like to do a public service by saying "Beware!" of those who say they've found the medallion. When the true finder comes in and is verified, we'll post it on the Winter Carnival page.

They didn't tell me, I can only asume they went to the park they told me they were going to. I didn't ask them either. I only recommend answers to the clues, I rarely do the diging.
Lalala it is so fun to watch you guys talk about the clues and stuff but i bet it is in Mounds park it has to be it is a perfect place (I know it dosent mean any thing but).I think it is because it is by the pioneer press place thanx for the ideas by the i think they were trying to throw you off track.Good luck people!!!!=)
Just to throw out a new idea, I know it was there last year, but I think Como has possibilities. It was there 2 years in a row in the 80's, and all the clues fit, especially, "roses don't bloom"
That "will soon be back" in yesterdays clue might help for Como, Highland, or Cheokee. It's been 11 years since Mounds. I see a lot of cars blocking traffic down here. Fairly sensible crowd though.
yeah i know i have no idea where it is?
Contact Patrick if you want to talk.
were are we going barry?
Well is anyone going to the parade tomorrow? It might be more fun than digging for the treasure if we don't even know which park it is hidden in . . .
IAN gee you sure left that long scared that it was going to give it way.
I figure it'll start to get real good now - they want to sell all those weekend papers, get people interested.
IAN WHAT THE HECK IS THE REASON FOR WRITING SOMETHING IF YOU DELETE IT. SCARED OR WHAT
Just got a peek at the next clue. I think it should narrow it down.
I'm such a tease! ;)

I'm not gonna read the last 500 messages since I was on last. Is the concensus Cherokee or Mounds? Is Prospect still an option?

The adress for the Cherokee Park building is 777...maybe "lucky" refers to that

Take 7th St. to Smith, over the high bridge, 1st right, then 1st right again (you'll see the tennis courts).
we will find it?
because we are the great snow harvesters
Hey Guys,
Just to throw out a new idea, I know it was there last year, but I think Como has possibilities. It was there 2 years in a row in the 80's, and all the clues fit, especially, "roses don't bloom"
how can you find it if you are here
AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! I can't stand the PRESSURE!!!!!!
I was downtown today... I think the two domes are the Capitol and the Civic Center, and Mother Lode (metal-copper) is the Cathdral!!!!!
peek a boo,i need the next clue
just show me a sneak so we can get to the peak.
what exactly points so much to cherikee and mounds
Sanity - r u out there?
If you just don't know where to go
Here's a clue to aid your decision:
The medallion that promises lots of dough
Is near a line of double division.
That "will soon be back" in yesterdays clue might help for Como, Highland, or Cheokee. It's been 11 years since Mounds. I see a lot of cars blocking traffic down here. Fairly sensible crowd though.
