Here is a possibility. The border of the west side is the border of St. Paul and of Ramsey County. A line of double division. Cherokee seems to have just gotten a boost. Or Newell!!!!!

Double division: The borders of both St. Paul and Ramsey County are one line near Cherokee Park. Does this make sense?

Pat-- I thought the exact same thing about "double division" and Cherokee. That division is on Annapolis Street (city street). It's also right where kids go sledding at Cherokee--the only place kids sled there! I can't see how it could be anywhere else!

At the tail end of Mounds park, right by the Kick-off bar the street divides into two, on one side leading you to the park...could have something to do with it????

If you just don't know where to go

Here's a clue to aid you decision

The medallion that promises lots of dough

Is near a line of double division

Oh so the 1st national bank is the dough, but this is the fourth or so reference to that. What are they trying to tell us, i bet the employees at the bank would probally kick us out if we all ran in there with our digging stuff and demanded to make a withdrawl of a blue plastic medallion.

Dough may refer to Baker Street which runs into Cherokee Ave. in the park by trees and the tennis courts.

I'm with Pat and 1st time Hunter. We finally got an answer to the ongoing question between Mounds and Cherokee. Hidden falls also 'falls' on the line, but a bit streched.

it is so easy, but we are still here typing at our nice WARM computers instead of braving the dark and the cold. we all hope that the devoted diggers won't find it and the medallion will still be there when we comfortably roll out of bed (hopefully late in the morning!!)

ok so i am really talking about myself. luck to you brave souls.

So how come when i was cherokee earlier there wasnt a soal for miles? and now suddenly mounds becomes the barren frozen wasteland? but could there be anything more an the clue than dough=bank, division=border

'mom'

Pat, gotta like your thinking. It would be DOUBLE division since it is dividing two things (city, county) (((duh, now it sound so stupid))). Annapolis - another "city" street, how convenient..
