Submitted by Casey Trauer on

It's time for the Medallion Hunt! The first clue will appear on PioneerPlanet just after midnight Saturday, Jan. 22. Come back here to compare notes with other treasure seekers, but be certain you read the rules on the Planet's Winter Carnival page.

Put yourselves in the shoes of a Greenskeeper at a Golf Course and Clue # 1 will explain itself!!! After seeing what is happening at Conway would you want your

greens looking like that?

I know there's no Perry Park, but I think the clue is pretty clear that the name you're looking for is the common name between the two. Thus you would need a

comedian named Como Something. The only other parks I can think of whose name can be used as both a first and last name would be Newell and Langford, but I

can't think of any examples of those, certainly not as prominent as the Conway answer.

Mike Torino, I'd love to find it, but I' just too tired to dig through the hardened snow anymore. With the weather and all the foot traffic, digging at Conway now is

like chipping ice.

I am telling yah, it is at Como.

I just went through the clues, and now I know it is at Como, and in all honesty, I actually think I might have a pretty darn good idea.

All you folks looking for that 3M read sign as your bearing, ummm, if I recall, you can't see it from Conway Park. Besides, there are OTHER red bearings around

Como.

Might I make a suggestion. If you see a Snowman, knock that suck down, and take a look around.

Peppercorn, it can't be buried in the ground. The hunting is not supposed to damage the property.

Zentar: the 3M sign is quite clear from Conway.

do any of you live way out of the area and are only here for the "fun" of it, or are you actually all going digging?!

I guess some of you missed the earlier discussions. My idea is that the two frozen places that are of equal size are the North Pole and the South Pole. They are both

frozen and both are but a single point. So if you look for north and south poles you will find the utility poles in the middle of the park (as you search aMID snow and

ice) that run north-south. So it must be somewhere near there.

In response to 20316 . . . it would definately be between two objects of the same size in that instance.

I still say the thing is rapid in the shell of a baseball.

Maybe it is wrapped in a baseball, and perhaps some kid picked up a couple of weeks ago and took it home. Maybe it's in somebody's toybox!

Find the person whose name was Como, but didn't go by the name Como folks.

While the rinks at Conway are not equal size, the sheets of ice are about equal. Its just a smaller rink was constructed on the one sheet, leaving open ice for figure

skaters. So the frozen places (sheets of ice) are close to being equal in size.
