Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

perhaps not, ian. i pointed out that the email check doesn't appear to be happening to the sysop. hopefully it'll get investigated at least.

I'm looking out my office window, and a lot of snow has melted since this morning. What the weather is expected to do, I think a lot more inches will be missing by this weekend.
Okay, Ian. You've proved your point. But how are you changing your actually e-mail account. I had to use my work e-mail. If I used a phony account, then I would have never received that message. Thus, not be able to harrass anyone.
This is a quick review of 'Time and Tide' A young Hong Kong man becomes a bodyguard in order to make some quick money, and is befriended by a mercenary who is trying to start life anew. The friendship doesn’t last, as fate throws them on opposite sides of a conflict.
What about the original Battle Creek-the one that actually had the Indian battle?I assume you mean that one, rather than the new regional Battle Creek in Maplewood.
So far the clues don't make me think of BCP-but it's been a long while since the treasure was hidden there.
New Daddy: Merrium , arlington/arkwright, hillcrest
I didn't see those names being discussed. What are your reasons for those, please.
Ian, I get it. I thought you had to change your e-mail account as well. I guess that would keep the OLT from registering. PP should be told to change that access authority.
ian, you've got mail. sent from the root of your web site.
td, i'd brought up a/a yesterday. after opening the guide and there it was. of course i immediately threw that theory away as its way too early to pinpoint that small of a park!
I don't think Como or Cherokee. Como - because it was there last year. Cherokee - because I think there needs to be a lot of open space away from trees and hills which it doesn't have.
parks its not at as i said before its not midway stadium(i really got razzed for that guess a couple years ago and i dont thinks its in white bear lake either... think tank beverage of choice for 2002:summit winter ale
Hey all- I'm back for yet another year- bad thing is - I probably can't dig too much I'm due to have a new baby girl in 10 days. Even though it's so early- my thoughts are with Hillcrest at the moment.
They most likely wont hide it in a park you cannot park your vehicle in. Meanning people are not gonna want others to fill thier local streets with cars that don't normally belong there.

They call me Cocky. And I say 'What?' It ain't being cocky if you can back it up!
shadow....where did you get battle??? from thesaurus??
It's been mentioned several times that it cannot be in Maplewood as a fear of being sued by the city because of hunters destroying new bushes.
snow shadow, i think you've pretty much summarised the collective set of ideas we've all had here!
Thank Ares,
now to slip into something alittle bit more appropriate...
I was there today too. There were probably 10 or 15 people out digging. They had already dug up the entire playground.
IAN...ARE YOU MENTAL?
Well, I gotta go. See y'all on the flip side!!
I've seen that BC reference a couple of times now. What does it mean?
Old Creepy Karpis...look for the guide at www.medallionhunt.com
BC - Battle Creek
bc=battle creek
the city of maplewood wont let them put the medallion there anymore!
Yes indeed...but I am clean!

So, the general parks mentioned here this afternoon have been:

Did I get them all?
IAN...ARE YOU MENTAL?
OMG...I hope not...I was trying to show what can be done as far as names go.
Thanks Rust! I was with Kirk Kondie the night before he found it at Newell in 84, He asked me if i was coming back in the morning that friday and I said Yeah! Well I was 16 and sept in that Saturday morning....... I saw is picture on the news not long after! Ive been a junkie ever since.
From a thesaurus, yes. Well, I'm glad that I'm on the right track, then, Ares.
Booya...OCK...see ya on the dig then!!
Pride - high pitch. I don't get the connection.

I got this after I was already posting.
I'm looking out my office window, and a lot of snow has melted since this morning. What the weather is expected to do, I think a lot more inches will be missing by this weekend.
I still never received an e-mail.....
please dont say arlington/arkwright!!
TD Merrium , arlington/arkwright, hillcrest

Medallion Queen...I won't say it.
I never changed the e-mail account.
at this point these clues fit every park!!!!!

What parks do you think its not at.. My bottom three como, last year battle creek ski events, highland to obvious clue with high tide and high time
They have, I believe.

That's my humble opinion.

This caught my eye this morning:"You may trip over the goods".The last line of Clue#3.
'Trip over' would be an eccentric bit of prose if it didn't suggest something.Trip-travel-or the like.
Thanks Ares. That was my suspicion...it's too bad. People will give up if they can't easily gain access here.
Would someone explain to me why some people are favoring Hidden Falls? Are there any clues that are pointing them that way?
I'm going to have to do some digging on info on arlington/arkwright as I know nothing about that park.
"Trip over the goods" made me think of a shoe string and tripping over an untied shoe.
Hey all- I'm back for yet another year- bad thing is - I probably can't dig too much I'm due to have a new baby girl in 10 days. Even though it's so early- my thoughts are with Hillcrest at the moment.
