Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

Mr. Pirate..I grew up there, no parking lot in site
Ivy! That's it. Couldn't think of that street name.
You're right about Langford. No lot. Hard to remember that. The last time it was there, parking was not an issue. Hardly anyone ever got out there to dig. It was as if most people didn't know it existed.
Carny - this is what I get from that clue. Clue # 2 -work your brain (BC Elementary),your legs (tons of ski trails)...if you have some time to kill (Battle). I think everything fits BC!
At Duluth & Case the woods border one side of the park, there are some kids sledding down a small hill there. The Bruce Vento Trail was recently renamed to honor him. You can see towers from ther but I think they are Cell phone towers.
Janis - In reality, the zoo and golf courses have always been off limits. Harriet Island in the rules this year has been open to speculation ranging from not damaging the new river front park to giving it a rest after the spring floods and the newer sod.
Merriam fits best so far. Has a lot, on-street parking, community center on site, and get this:a 2-way communications radio antenna(in the treasure hunters guide) can be seen from the ballfields! Clue #4 hey, hey,OK,OK -done 2ways. It's at MERRIAM!!!

If you're going over hill and dale...the Dale St. bridge can be seen from W. Minnehaha...and it's due for a renovation that hasn't started yet.
Hey people, there is a rec center at COMO!!!
Teddy's right, i grew up a block away from North Dale, no parking lot
Case & Duluth has 2 playgrouds one for big kids one for todders.
at phalen there is "wheellock parkway"
This is also where the Bruce Vento trail leads to.
THe only hills West Minnehaha has is the bridge going up on dale

spunky...wheelock runs all the way from como to phalen..
Could it be after Como again? Hey Hey, OK OK, two times in a row?
Scheffer is out. No hills....no lot.
Hamline doesn't have a lot either.
OK, does anybody know if any of the following offer on-street parking or not?
Duluth is sort of a dead end there also. It turns into case around a corner.

Snow Mommy and Digger girl...I must say your casing you point well
I wouldn't get rid of ones without woods, because didn't the clue say "get away from the woods" or soemthing?
MLK has a lot and on street parking too.

frostlake does, plus it has a wooded hill and baseball fields plus a school
This is a private post to you, but between me, and you the first clue made me think of Como, and Newell
Carny - this is what I get from that clue. Clue # 2 -work your brain (BC Elementary),your legs (tons of ski trails)...if you have some time to kill (Battle). I think everything fits BC!
So Ian, what's the diff between a community rec and a neighborhood rec on that map?
frost lake is looking good
Think you are onto something pirate......Como Como
Isn't BC a regional park? Does clue 1 mean a St Paul park or a Park in St. Paul?
Sorry to ask-but could one of you please repost so I can cut/paste the clue to stare at it a bit? -Thanks

in and on the air could be refering to the afterthoughts of 9.11 and all the coverage in media about the war/battle all = BC
yes, I'd love it at frostlake, como or phalen. I'm in no. st. paul. I'd love it on this end of town. not too far from BC either
hey why does it say at the pp website that its not at harriet island, o a golf course or at como zoo
http://www.stpaul.gov/depts/parks/recprograms/history.html
I like BC right now, until someone else makes a better case for a different park, or I figure it out, or a new clue. Not very sure. scds
Rob........ talk to Mike or Giefer, any digging tonight!?
Snow mommy, Are they any woods in the park?
Tim, I thought you guaranteed Highland?
Hey Mr. Pirates...you have an MSN or AOL acct?
theres woods that surround most of the park
nope, they took off
The part of BC park down off 61 is called "BC Regional Park," but not the park off Winthrop, just says BC Park.
I cannot believe they would narrow things down this soon - on the 5th Clue? Hope the hunt does not end this soon!
