Yes, the medallion has been found, but there's still lots to talk about. Feel the need for more than virtual discussion? Then join the Re-Hash Bash, Sunday, Jan. 27, at noon at Merriam Park in St. Paul.

I bet it isnt just going to be laying out in the open.
I too slog every single post. Have since before most of you had found the PP hunt boards.
Allison - As you know, all of us have misinterpreted the clues one way or another...and I probably have more than most...so if anyone is really out to heckle you because they believed what you posted here, the only one they should be upset with is themselves. You certainly didn't tell anyone they had to follow your suggestions. It's truly stupid on their part. Ignoring stupidity is the better thing to do.
Anyway, I need to get going and probably won't be back until late.
As for where it will be hidden, perhaps at Linwood behind the tennis courts, in a little drainage hole at the bottom of a small wooden fence, obscured by leaves. hehe
Tim, you and I don't have anything. Don't worry about it.
Howdy, Terry! *You* more than others? IIIIII ddddooonnnnn'ttttt tttthhhhiiinnnkkk sssssssoooo! LOL!!! But that was nice to say to Allison.
But for "trees in a line = Woodrow" I've not gotten zip. I could care less if folks crab at me. I do my best. I'm not as good as others, but I still have fun!
so does anyone actually think the puck's been hidden yet? or with the lack of weather wouldn't they dare risk it being found already?
all i know is we're gonna get a bunch of snow. just a hunch because my clutch foot is getting itchy to get back in my mustang. something's gotta keep me out of it.
Being in the correct park is over-rated. Like in football, one team wins and the rest are disappointed. 98 was a far tougher year to watch than this year. See what I mean....
Tim - Being in the right park is rated high in my book - almost as high as finding it. Nothing worse than realizing you'd been digging in the snow miles and miles from where the thing is hidden.
The year it was at Kellogg, we were SURE it was on Harriet Island. Thought all those folks "up there" were nutz!
Sure felt foolish when that White Castle box was found.
To *moi* - being in the correct park is NOT overrated!!! I felt SSSOOO GGGOOODDD acing Conway! That alone was worth $10,000! If I make it to the correct park, I feel like I've accomplished something!
Students at the Montana State Med School were receiving their first anatomy class with a real dead human body. They are all gathered around a surgery table where a body lie, covered with a white sheet.
Then the professor started the class by telling them: "In medicine, it is necessary to have 2 important qualities as a doctor: The first is that it is necessary that you not be disgusted."
The Professor uncovered the sheet, sunk his finger in the ass of the dead body, withdrew it and sucked it.
"Go ahead and do the same thing," he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated but subsequently taking turns, stuck their finger in the ass of the dead body and sucked after ; withdrawing it.
When everyone finished, the Professor looked at them and told them: "The second important quality is observation. I stuck the middle finger and sucked the index. Pay attention people!
There are two years I felt really good about acing the correct park and really early...the Capital Mall and Langford. We were about the only ones out there both times after about 4 clues.
Of course the hunt at Langford never did find many folks out there.
I started muttering to myself "trees in a line" over and over and just muttered, "wood - row".
Looked in Steve's book, found "Wilson Street" by Conway and confirmed to The Cooler that, indeed, The Med was at Conway. None o'us had any doubts after that one.
and actually it was the "valuable sign" that pulled me over to the opposite backstop. there was a true value hardware store across wilson from the field with the bleachers.
Someday I'll have to tell you the story about him and me taking turns digging between the power poles over by the warming house... Where The Spotter was.
I bet it isnt just going to be laying out in the open.
Uncle! At long last, a glorious reunion! We haven't spoken in at least a week!
Yupppers, Allison.
We do have an appointment?
Hello All!
I too slog every single post. Have since before most of you had found the PP hunt boards.

We need to noodle what it could be hidden in case of now snow. I have never seen the medallion, how big is it?
It's the size of a hockey puck...light blue...aqua like in color - semi transparent.
Anyway, I need to get going and probably won't be back until late.
As for where it will be hidden, perhaps at Linwood behind the tennis courts, in a little drainage hole at the bottom of a small wooden fence, obscured by leaves. hehe
Remember me Allison, I was at Hidden Falls for most of last years hunt(lol) and probably would still be there.
2 inches in diameter 1 inch in depth, light translucent blue
Other years of no or little snow, it's been found inside clumps of clay, grass and dead leaves.
Tim, you and I don't have anything. Don't worry about it.
Howdy, Terry! *You* more than others? IIIIII ddddooonnnnn'ttttt tttthhhhiiinnnkkk sssssssoooo! LOL!!! But that was nice to say to Allison.

JOE!!!
Green - in 30 years of hunting, you can bet I've made some wrong interpretations...sometimes not even getting to the right park.
And in those 30 years, I've made more wrong hunches than correct ones.
so does anyone actually think the puck's been hidden yet? or with the lack of weather wouldn't they dare risk it being found already?
all i know is we're gonna get a bunch of snow. just a hunch because my clutch foot is getting itchy to get back in my mustang. something's gotta keep me out of it.
They'll need to camophlage it pretty well with no snow. Anything out of the ordinary will stick out like a sore thumb
Being in the correct park is over-rated. Like in football, one team wins and the rest are disappointed. 98 was a far tougher year to watch than this year. See what I mean....
A California naval orange.
NO
I doubt it's been put down yet. If it was, I'll bet it's been picked up again.
Unless they move the hunt to Florida
Okay - try this: http://www.daytonsbluff.org/HammGrainElevator.html

You got an Eagle Joe!!! somewhere in there, Ter.

green. i wasn't on the board for the conway hunt. which clue did you nail conway on?
There are two years I felt really good about acing the correct park and really early...the Capital Mall and Langford. We were about the only ones out there both times after about 4 clues.
Of course the hunt at Langford never did find many folks out there.
now that was just plain sick, wolf. but strangely relevant.
That said, Tim...
It REALLY WAS in Phalen in 2000 and it REALLY WAS moved to Newell.
Yep. I know these things. The Aliens tell me in my sleep...
I'm outta here for awhile. Need to go do some errands for my Mom.
See yaz all later!
Ares, something about "trees in a line."
I started muttering to myself "trees in a line" over and over and just muttered, "wood - row".

'Later, Ter!
Hi,
greenslvs2, Terry, and all the rest. Just looking back on the 98 board. Interesting stuff. Names have changed.
don't remember if it was the trees or the translucent peaks from sun-ray that did it for me.
Prolly to protect the not-so-innocent, Maureen. HI!!!
JOE!!!
Ian and the Rolling Stones
When one of you "cooler heads" figure out what park it's in the year would you please tell me, I don't like "Hidden Falls!"
Mr. Sax, and Dave may have changed his name to Downtown Dave
don't you know, wolf. its in the frog pond! always.
Maybe I should check ther tonight.
Tim's probably all ready been there.
Ares, DO NOT get me started on that stupid "peak" clue! I was SO MAD!!!
Clue said "peak" - SINGULAR. Not "peaks" as in plural. I still don't think it was Sunray, but the singular peak on the warming house...
it did, didn't it.
You DOUBT The-Totally-Clueless-And-In-The-Dark One???
no. i'm looking at the clue as we speak, er, write.
joe
and actually it was the "valuable sign" that pulled me over to the opposite backstop. there was a true value hardware store across wilson from the field with the bleachers.
Allison was hung up on that sign for awhile, too.
Someday I'll have to tell you the story about him and me taking turns digging between the power poles over by the warming house... Where The Spotter was.
you and those spotters, green.
Well Steve and I have had are moments TOO!
JOE!
Maureen, what take did you guys have on the "peak" clue? Sunray?
green, what's new this year!
