Had a silly brainstorm on the way home tonight. I was trying to follow the KISS rules with clue #5. Took it down to the basics. Cipher, as a verb, mean to compute arithmetically. Added the numbers given us, One plus two plus three....six. There are 6 mounds in Mounds park. Bear with me - I know I'm probably W-A-Y wrong, but a lot of the other clues fit there, too. Of course, you can see the Capitol, barbs - Thorn street, clue #3 I haven't been able to make a lot of sense out of....but there is a sort of pavillion that's open on two sides. The coldest star.....this is the BIG stretch....the beacon??
I know I'm rambling on like a mad woman, but until the next clue, I don't have anything better.
Does anyone know how they are giving the trip away tonight?

Hi all! Back from up N, and I had a "revelation" about clue 5 while driving home.
Nobody has brought up the most obvious meaning- The one on top of 1st bank! I believe its been debated (on the old cooler boards during past hunts) as to whether it has 2 or 3 sides. The rest is just word play to make us over-cipher the clue.(Not sure if/where "When St.Paul made a great leap" comes in to play)
It doesn't help narrow down the park much, but would they want to do that on clue 6 when they're trying to make it hard?
look at it this way - you can stay home and maybe get some love or attention(which if you are on here- that aint gonna happen).....BUT if you come downtown tonight - you will for sure get lei'd no matta how ugly you is!!
BTW - what are the criteria for winning hawaii trip?
