Not sure what to think about the 2 and 3? It's so vague you could almost stretch to anything, and anything you link it too seems like a stretch, so who knows
Yep, it is a stretch. But I do like the One idea :-)
Stocking all cold beverages...filling the pot with "arabian nights" blend...hot fried eggs- sunny side down...puck shaped sausages...shoe-string hashbrowns...and hot cipher cider...
2. Standing here, you can see,so clear A view of our Capitol dome. If it's treasure you seek, nearby you should peek And you may see our medallion's home.
6. Of course we all know there's not too much snow To cover the place where it's lying But do not dismay, we'll find a way To stick it where the sun ain't shining.
Someone asked yesterday about just receiving the clues in their e-mail. I've created a new thread that if they e-mail subscribe to, they can receive the clues in their e-mail.
This is Casey Casum with a long distance dedication going out to The Cooler Crew, From the Saint Paul Winter Carnival Medallion Hunt Clue Writer at an undisclosed beach in Hawaii. “I’m just sittin here drinkin beer, sippin rum and getting some. I hope this year y’all’ll cheer, don’t be dumb and don’t go numb” Here’s “Only I Know, You Know” by Cave Legion
Only I know, you know All that the clues have got to show So don’t refuse to believe it By reading too many meanings
\09Chorus: \09\09Cos you know that I mean what I say \09\09So try not to go and take me the wrong way \09\09You know you can make things fit into your way \09\09But don’t and it just might be yours someday
I appear to be deceivin’ Oh no no not pleasin’ And its hard to be believin’ When the clues have been so misleadin’
If I seem to confuse you It’s just my craziness coming through And when it comes down to the last clue Aw I ain’t no crazier than you
Only I know, you know Only I know, you know Only I know, you know

teddy: I just got done slogging this mornings post. i agree with you about downtown. did you know that this year is the 150th anniversary of st. paul being named the capital city? i think that's what the big leap is. and the 2 or 3 has to do with other sites/names they suggested for the cap city. i'm going downtown for sure today.
i'll let you know teddy. if you see me in the papers, you'll know we were right. i totally have a hunch that's it's not "parked" in a park per se. I was thinking something like a parkway.? who knows... I wanna check a couple things out. thank god i got my wisdom teeth pulled on wed. and I can milk it for an extra day off work! where are you that you can do the hunt? why are you so interested if you can't actually look for it?
teddy: what a bummer! i know how you feel. i went to college in chicago, so i missed the carnival every year. so since i've been back, i've been an avid hunter. at least you're getting in some practice for next year tho!
You guys hear the interviews on KQ of some of our own out hunting?
Strech was out looking for us in Cherokee and only saw a few hunters. He had a columnist from PP along and was implying that there was not a lot of interest in the hunt this year since he didn't see too many people out at 8:00 AM on a weekday. Little did he know that we were all out until 1 or 2 AM this morning!

No interest? HA!
I say each and every one of us e-mails them and tells them better: morningshow@92kqrs.com
My wife called me on her way to work and woke me up saying that they were kind of making fun of us. I guess Mappy and a few others were on. I only caught the tail end since I just got to sleep a few hours ago. Great! Now I'm up for sure.
Aight ya'll... im outtie for now.
Catch ya'll on the flip side.
Peace!
MCL!
Great pics CM! Thanks for sharing! I want to see the ones of you with the Kates!!!
Thats excellent Ian! got it- saved!

1.
A crueler crew we never knew
Than those whose barbs have stung us
Faith be anew, here's your first clue:
The puck, it's parked among us.
2.
Standing here,you can see,so clear
A view of our Capitol dome.
If it's treasure you seek, nearby you should peek
And you may see our medallion's home.
3.
Keep yourself warm, away from the storm
Even in the dead of winter.
Wide as triple E, our door will always be
Open to all who enter.
4.
The coldest star will guide you far
In finding the puck this year
The red white and blue is a lovely clue
Your legions should hold dear
5.
Treasure Hunt lifer, prepare to cipher
This one's yours to keep.
Was it two or three, they seem not to agree
When St. Paul made a great leap.
6.
Of course we all know there's not too much snow
To cover the place where it's lying
But do not dismay, we'll find a way
To stick it where the sun ain't shining.
Mornin' Sam

I've been informed we've had over 500 new users register.
Who says the "Cooler Crew" doesn't rock?
:-)
We rock!
I was there
Where were you Ian?

By the donuts, by the clownz at the front door, by my friend near the steps, and by the paper seller.
Mike Gelfand/KQRS is at Cherokee. He'll be live again at 8:45
Good Morning!
Great photos, CM!!
Just about 8 more hours and there will be a whole weekend's worth of hunting ahead.
If it gets found before the end of the day - please let it be one of us!
Its a spoof on Dave Mason's " Only you and I know". Just havin some fun :-)
And this is my favorite clue of all time.

Turk, you're being moderated.
E-mail lance@peoplesforum.com and he'll fix you up.
It just means your registration didn't complete.
turk: huh?
St Paul was Pigs Eye before it was St Paul
they also thought about putting the capital in midway. and St. Peter was the location of the cap originally.
30 minutes to go, then I'm on vacation for a week !
Good for you Ian.
I heard you were there at the paper last night?
I didn't see ya.
There was only like 7 people there total.
What gives?
Anyone going out today? Anyone going downtown!? keep an eye out for me!
Ian - you lucky hunter!! Good to walk with you last night. The PP was packed!
i'll let you know teddy. if you see me in the papers, you'll know we were right. i totally have a hunch that's it's not "parked" in a park per se. Newbies, you have to introduce yourselves when you're at the paper.
Just ask around. We usually have on "Cooler Crew" buttons.
I always where one on the front of my cap.
teddy: what a bummer! i know how you feel. i went to college in chicago, so i missed the carnival every year. so since i've been back, i've been an avid hunter. at least you're getting in some practice for next year tho!
it is a bit ironic that we had above average temps all winter, until the hunt started. i think the pp planned it like that!
THX- i really plan on stopping by PP tonite. and i will introduce myself.
Well that was kinda cool with the KQ thingy. Just caught the tail end of it. It sure will get people up to Cherokee today.
You guys hear the interviews on KQ of some of our own out hunting?
mcknight sounded like it was a good idea.. i just can't see it being in NSP.. ya know?
clue: no.. i missed it. anything good?
You guys hear the interviews on KQ of some of our own out hunting?
No! Maybe they'll replay it? Will have to listen while out scouting.

NO! Who'd they talk to?
