Good Evening!

FINALLY done slogging! It is terribly cold outside. Doubt we'll be heading out from here unless we're SURE.

I could not see any hint of the Capitol dome from Harriet or anywhere nearby today. Not from the end of the Wabasha bridge...maybe by the high bridge it's possible, and I'm sure it would be from the bluffs above.

You CAN see the dome from Como - but I doubt it's there.

grn_i--it means to continue going to all the same damn parks we've been going to, talk about it while we're there, and still come home empty handed. LOL

'head'ing is a soccer term, 'precious' is a ring, and we all know what a good time is, right?

Stick it where the sun don't shine.
A good time to take a stroll.

I think they put the medallion out at night, sneak it back in each morning.

If not a park, then what...? a bridge? a walk-way..?

see that photo of the conservatory, Green? See that Captiol-designed dome on the top? It COULD be....!

    Here's a thought related to clue7: It says "A carpenter's beau" . . .
That would make the carpenter a female wouldn't it?

It might be a good idea for you to go back and delete your joke clue before it causes confusion for people coming back to the board.

    A loud bag,

bagpipers, or maybe a Whoopee Cushion (hey those go where the sun don't shine)

I had written down that last line like you just posted; how has it changed from DD's posting?

That's funny, cuz I wrote it down like the corrected version--weird, huh?

"Precious" could be a reference to a ring, as in the "Lord of the Rings"

    Well.

I've certainly got my head "where the sun an't shining" over THIS clue!

    Sat, 01/25/2003 - 10:54 PM Permalink
    RushHarley

well thats the problem dolly you are 'sposed to be looking for the medallion not the clues

Maybe it's wrapped up inside a "fillet of sole"... or up a fish's butt! Does the frog have any friends we can "peek" "where the sun ain't shining"?

These clues are giving me a headache! must stop banging my head on the desk...

THe Official Rules just state Public land, not a park....but I think the "parked amoung us" must refer to a park?
