My belief is that triple E refers to a wide door. Lots of wide doors around town.

Maureen, I do believe Ian's well. He's been here this year.

Whether or not he saw the news last nite, I couldn't tell ya!

Wide as triple E, our door will always be
Open to all who enter.

I can't see how that could really reference anything other than a doorway of some sort. A wide open doorway/gateway/archway.

Howdy-doo, Gummy!!! Always nice to have annudder obsessed person join in the stew!

Gummy! Welcome to delurkerdom!

That gateway at HI is one of the references. Also I believe all the work being done at the riverfront to make it a more welcoming open place makes the open door thing more fitting.

I just feel it in my heart of hearts that the cluewriter/hunter is having the time of their lives keeping us all over the city. We asked for a tougher hunt and they are delivering - inspite of the no snow cover for the first week.

WPA was a work program during the earlier 1900's. There are some walls out at the fair grounds built by that organization and the older part of West Minnehaha Rec Center was also built by the WPA.
