Weida was ripped up. There were a ton of people there all day. They could have missed it, but I doubt it. I think this clue wirter is being a smart ass and waiting till the 8th(hopefully) or 9th clue to tell us its in a big park like harriet or IM or CHEROKEE!
Allison - As I recall, she served a short time in City office. Not sure where you'd find a bio for her. Maybe the St. Paul or Ramsey County Library folks could help.
Weida fits alot of the clues: but no Red White Blue anywheres. but she was on city council (quite the talker) and BEAUmont st near there, good view of dome, Gospel mission across the street. no Star, and other good tips in the clues.
Sheffer was interesting, a house right across the street had the side of his house covered w/ flags, a flag store across the street, a lumber store there (carpenters), good view of dome, nursing home on one side of park, that shoe mural, etc.
Raspberry Island is actually reached via the east entrance to Harriet Island. As you go around and into Harriet, there's a one lane bridge that will take you to island.
Thanks Terry; You know the Taste of MN is moving to Harriet this summer (St Paul makes the big leap) and will be along Wabasha bridge. THe bridge had alot of people looking today and fits clues, but so large the clues would have to narrow it down.
I was checking out the Wabasha bridge today, though I wasn't sure where they could hide it on there that the Sun doesn't shine. I climbed up the stairs from Raspberry Island and it was actually a bit nervewracking. If it was under the bridge, there's probably a lot of people who would not go look for it.
So where's everyone meeting prior to the clue? I've herd Buggs or Buttery?
Map: It was a huge *s* camera---maybe the Med is hidden in there?
They're also all in the Treasure Hunter's Guide. Available at only one store near me.
buggs
QueenM, stop...your embarassing me.
Ares told me that some people are meeting at The Buttery
The Herald or Tribune?
There's clownz around!
Hay, VJ!
Sup Green?
where exactly is buggs? it's not downtown.. buttery is.. i know that. i have to go pick up silver-what's-his-name first.
Good Evening Coolerheads!
Had a bit of a nap and am ready for the next clue!!!
Nuttin' much. Sup witch u?
Hay, Ter!
Tim, did you get the e-gram???
Nuthin much.... just waitin for Shaggy to show up.. so we can plan on if were heading down or not tonight.
Damnit, Maureen!!! I can never figure out what you mean!!!
Ah... Yeah... I guess...
Yeah! YEAH!!! I SURE AM!!!
Can sumbuddy post our web site address for Slick?
Slick: you want to go to the Pioneer Press web site and find the old clues there. ALot of good information, actually;
www.coolercrew.com
Although none of that info helped in the least find the Med today!
Has anyone come up with a bio of Eileen Wieda? I can't seem to find one shred of information on her.
Went to Weida today; pretty dug up.
Thanks, Tim!
She was a early black St Paul city council lady.

ROFLOLPMP ---------------> Maureen!!!
YES, I hate it!!! LOL!!! And more so when you talk to ME in code because then I can't unnerstand the clues and I can't unnerstand YOU!!!
I feel like a "where the sun ain't shining"!!!

Yup, Maureen!!!

Slick:
www.coolercrew.com
someone posted that a couple minutes ago for you...
JOE!!!
How about that U of M rowing club down by the High bridge and Harriet.
Is that public property?
How does one get to this Raseberry Island? Is there a road?
Slick, methinks you best be searching for a new moniker rather than old clues...

The toilet paper sit-ee-a-shun is starting to get critical here...
You KNOW you've got the bug bad when you've not the time to give to going to Wally World for TP as that would take away from Med Hunting!!!
Hmmm, Beau Bridges? This is starting to remind me of the Como Hunt where there were lots of clues with no solid meanings.
Thanks Terry;

was thinking bridges too. i was maybe going to check out the highbridge today or tomorrow if tonites clue is applicable.
Your quite welcome, Queen Malley.
I just found out I know someone here that I didn't know I knew!! Hello JazJae!!!!!
I need a clue 2hrs. 20mn. to go
hey reg!
Orion: went over High Bridge today, awesome view of Dome; not much else fits. the Wabasha has more that fits, although the Dome view is not as good.
Hay, reg!
