Hahaha, I'd be interested if it was worth keeping me from looking :)
Then again, they might have a fit if I up and left work :) Besides.. I'm still half hoping for a 12th clue now, trouble is, I'm facing people with cell phones at the park and at the PP for the clue.... I've never liked cell phones so I don't have one, but I'd stand in line to get the clue first.... seems like a 12th clue hunt isn't made for me as much.
I spent a hour and 1/2 wandering thru the woods west of the pool. Whether it's there or closer to the EEE, there is so much ground to cover (and all covered by leaves) that it may not be found for days. Other than the fire pit/place and the remains of the rail road bridge, it might be hard for the cluewriter to pinpoint the actual hiding spot because of the lack of landmarks.
Gypsy just wanted to come over and play with your dog! She just loves playing with other dogs...she had to smell everywhere that your dog had been!
Gypsy loves people and going places with us! She had so much fun smelling everything at Como. I just wish she knew what the medallion smelled like, then she could dig it up for us!
I'll be happy with the outcome of the hunt, provided the dude who stopped me last night leaving the PP doesn't find it.
First, he complained to me that there was only one set of rodeo tickets to be given away. Then, he asked me if I thought it was at Como. I said yes. He said, "Do they have cars and horses and all that stuff?" I said yes. He said, "They said it wasn't supposed to be there this year." I let that one slide. (dramatic pause)Then he asked me how to get there. I just walked away. If I see his stupid face on TV with the puck, I quit.
This year if I found it, assuming it was in a crowd of people, I'd let em know so I could get the news clippings from someone and find a person with a button.. Next year, I plan on having all that and when I found it, I'd quietly slip out of the park.
Jaz: i was looking up that Earth Day run at Como for the start/finish but did not find anything that said where, other than Como...
My son and I looked last night in those woods, up by the rec center, over by the baseball field, back to the woods....that rec center has some interesting paintings on the walls.
I'm not counting on finding it this year though, unless two things happen. 1, we get to the last clue and all it does is confirm a area of the park it's in (none of that 30 paces from the whatnot) or 2, I find it before the last clue.
Does anyone think it could still be at Harriet considering the zoo and a pool used to be there? Is Who hears a Who? really the Horton clue or could it be something else? Just curious what folks are thinking.
Managed to get away from work early today. Just thought I'd slog for any new ideas for these clues. Really not easy making snese of all these all at once.
Hats off to the cluewriter/hider. This is going the full 12 clues from the looks of it. Great job!!!!!!!!
Going to spend a bit of time with my Treasure Hunter's Guide and then head out to Como as soon as my hunting partner gets home in about an hour.
is it $10,000 good? lol I'd do it for that.. maybe even half... seein as I don't have a registered button :)
I'm stuck at work, Jaz. :(

hi Sara
You never really know with this hunt, but park with a zoo seems to kinda limit the options by a fair margin. Far as I know, Como's the only one.
Thing is, Como is a big park, and they could just mislead people in there for a bit
They sure stuck it to us this year.
Crueler Crew
Stick it where the sun don't shine
Vultures
Where's the love?
:-)
I so agree with Snow Jester!
damn think there's enough people in here!
Looks like worldcrossing is down again.
They all storm over here when W.C. crashes.
The list is definitely growing, Jaz....
I agree grn_i, good luck.

I just tried logging in there and I can't get in.
That board is just horrible.

There is also an Earth Day 5k run at Como; anyone know where it starts or finishes??
YEs but what about carpenter's beau?
the longer into the day it gets, the more likely it seems there will be a 12th clue
It was funny, but not at the time.
ah, interesting...
I'm suprised at this point anyone would be at HI..
You people should be out looking!
I was but I am only human and need sleep and food.
Hey Mr Mn: I have to go p/up kids from school 2:00 to 3:00---darn, those kids have to come first! But they come with me and help hunt!
Is that to an older hunt Maureen?
Let's hope so!

Oh, obviously Eags :)

I thought those rules were just for the after hunt drawings?
thanks maureen, see ya next time :)

At clue #11, I think the cluewriter is getting much more current and specific. If it's not at Como, that would be way crueler!
