My grandma had a friend with the last name of BURNS and she lived in Highland park and thats why Map Guy chose Highland ;)hehehe

ANSWERThe Mississippi River was 'the place' to
 bathe at Harriet Island until the river became poluted -
1.5 million people bathed there in 6 years!


Clue #2

Many, many years ago, Indians from different tribes gathered here once a year and smoked the peace pipe

ANSWER Back pre 1850 - The Indian chiefs got together for tribal meetings on Harriet Island when it was an island.
