wow! must be my lucky day! hubby found a purse in a cart at cub and brought it home and called the lady to let her know we had it and when she picked it up she gave us $200.00! gonna have some fun tomorrow!
LOL MH! she's pretty lucky he was the one that found it, I have a feeling not too many people would have done the same. her checkbook showed quite alot of money in it and there was some cash too.
By the way Mr Med Hunter, I was browsing your site yesterday and I was pretty impressed. Not just at how well it looked, but at how much it had change since the last time I looked at it a few weeks ago. You must have put a lot of time into that.
Anyway, it's time for me to go and get this party of mine started. Not sure if I'll have time to check in again or not in the next 48 to 72 hours, but we'll see. Otherwise I'll see sometime after Clue 1 comes out.

St Peter Sandstone is a very white sandstone, consisting of well-rounded sand grains that are barely cemented together. The rock is therefore, rather porous and easily breakable. It is one of the purest, most unmixed rocks in this vacinity, being more than 99% pure silica, from which glass is made. It is runs approx 150 feet thick in the St Paul area.
ANSWER The St Peter Sandstone actually runs the whole course of the city of St Paul along the Mississippi River Bluffs. (so for the first clue you couldhave chosen any number of the parks along the bluff line BUT the key in there was the 'glass' and how it tied into the Ford Plant).
FYI
In St Paul there are only 2 kinds of bedrock that crop out. The topmost layer is the Trenton Limestone, and the one under is the St Peter Sandstone. (note: the Trenton Limestone is devided into 3 layers: Galena limetone, Decorah shale, and Platteville Limestone).
Below the St Peter Sandstone there are many layers of the limestone and sandstone, indicating that wherever there is limestone the site of St Paul was under a sea about 2,000 feet deep, and wherever sandstone is found was a shoreline.
Clue #2
You can see the mouth of the 'Laughing Waters' from this park.
ANSWER
The Minnehaha Creek flows into the Mississippi River right near the Ford Plant and across from Hidden Falls Regional Park.

Funny thing happened today at Crosby park!!!
I went to work on Paul's cache so it would get approved and to place my "Another One Bites The Dust" cache (which was my old AREA 52 cache and it did not get placed - you will see why)
Anyway, I parked out at the end of that road beyond the picnic area and there were all these men sitting in their cars just waiting and waiting, sometimes getting out and heading into the woods on a dirt path. At the time it did not seem that weird to me, but there we NO women in the parking area except ME! It was lunch time and I thought maybe it was just people out enjoying their lunch breaks. Old guys, young guys, weird guys, working guys, lots and lots of MEN! Busy park today.
I had already found Robs cache and was headed over to put Lenny the Leopard travel bug in Ian's Lion cache so I went on that SAME dirt path over toward the river. Whoops!
At about 300-400 feet in I heard strange noises coming from all around me! Men in the bushes having sex. Running in fright at the sight of a bushwhacking woman with a GPS - you can imagine. Now I have seen almost everything while geocaching! You know how funny it is to see a frightened half naked guy running across your path trying to pull his pants up? I did laugh, probably shouldn't have, but I did. Several startled heads popping up out of the trees to see what the commotion was.
Crosby park is a gay cruising park. Or at least that parking area is. So glad Paul was not with me today!
The paved paths were OK, normal people walking there and all the area up to the river was OK, just that little area of woods and that dirt path by the far parking lot. Needless to say, I took the LONG way out of the woods and back to my car, and will not be back at Crosby park at noon on a Wednesday ever again.
Went back to my car and left. Thought you both might enjoy hearing about my adventure today, since it involved both your caches!
wow! must be my lucky day! hubby found a purse in a cart at cub and brought it home and called the lady to let her know we had it and when she picked it up she gave us $200.00! gonna have some fun tomorrow!
It pays to be honest. I wonder how many people would have even returned it these days?
Wow, it shows that being honest has its rewards!
These days! I sound like I'm getting old. Remember when we had to walk 4 miles to school each day, uphill both ways.
LOL MH! she's pretty lucky he was the one that found it, I have a feeling not too many people would have done the same. her checkbook showed quite alot of money in it and there was some cash too.
ok, It's after 2:00! where's the next clue?
Clue #2
You can see the mouth of the 'Laughing Waters' from this park.
to see jakey and donny walk fire pits in hula skirts, i'd buy my own ticket to honolulu.

I think you are correct mac.

LL - I believe it's Hidden Falls also!
I agree, however Mac isn't going to change his guess, I don't think.
pretty sure he won't!

I'm not changing my guess, and I had the next guess after Mac.
And when I see Mac's avatar, I wish his posts had a thought bubble next to it. Would seem fitting.
i hate to break the bad news to him, but technically, i don't think his vote counts because he cast two.
to who?
macgrove.
That is actually one park...It is the top of the hill...I was speaking only to a specific spot within the park.
i'm getting a lecture right now about that, macgrove. sorry :)
