The Re-Hash Bash is always open to all Diggers, Hunters, Clue-Writers and Lurkers. Discuss the Medallion Hunt, and have a good time with those of like obsession. It's a great time! The Re-Hash Bash is a family affair. Spouses and kids (even toddlers) are more than welcome! Come early, stay late and eat, then eat some more. It's a potluck deal. It really is a fun time. It helps bring closure to the hunt for the year.

The CoolerHeads are a group of people who participate in the
Pioneer Press Medallion Hunt during Winter Carnival .
The Bash began in 1998 at Cherokee Park. It is always on the Sunday after the Medallion is found, and is held at the location where it was found. The link above is where all the clues were analyzed (over-analyzed !), accepted, rejected, discussed.
What you need to bring.....
- Bring a dish to share: dessert, salad, hot dish, whatever you like.
- Bring your own drinks.
- Bring your own plates, cups and utensils.
- There will be a fire. logs are needed !
- Check the forecast, but come prepared for "changing" weather.
- There have been gas stoves and charcoal grills in the past.

Voilet, I loved the snow/sleet at CoNo in '03! Made my naturally curly red hair all curly! It was snowy and sleety, but warm. Kind'a. I did burn my britches that year, come to think o'it. Think that izz when I met OT... And I felt SO DUMB damn near setting myself on fire in front o'this wannabe 'Head that was in the Puck Posse!!! She was pretty cool about it...Â
all that snow/rain washed my face-paint off.... that wasnt cool... but that is where the big giant snow monster thing was created... what fun.

Hey Ian I noticed two of em came up last night but are disabled right now. That mean they're not out yet? Would be cool to see FTFs on em on Sunday (perhaps a new cacher getting the FTFs on em?).
Yep, I had the coordinates, knew I was going out this morning, so I submitted them. Overnight they were approved so I had to rush out there. I don't think anyone went, but unless they got the updated coordinates, they woulda been SOL.

Heyward agrees there are descrepancies with where they found the medallion and what the pp newspaper said-so he said he would take anyone who wants to walk over there to where they found it. They wont be there for the whole bash cause the kids have boy scout stuff going on.
I dunno if I'll be there either.. all depends on if I can either find a ride or if the truck gets fixed tomorrow :(
Stall em for me me2, I gotta see where that darn medallion was anyway.. I'm hoping to get to the rehash ASAP, but it depends on how the morning goes.
We headed north today to get mail, check on our place to make sure no one had broken in again like they did last year during the hunt, and see if we could get to the wood pile to bring fuel for the fire tomorrow.
Happy to say that no one broke in this year.Â

We tried getting to our wood pile up north, but it wasn't meant to be. The difference in snow cover is amazing.
We could probably fit in a couple of chairs and an outdoor extension cord.
We will be making ants on a log - and some chocolate almond bark.

Taco rollups are made and in the fridge. I am also bringing something my friends have nicknamed crack because of its addictiveness.
Yesterday (sat) when I was forced to work it turned out that there were no supplies to run what we needed. Instead of cancelling then, they wanted us to work on other things, against our union rules, and that was that. Evidently they finally decided to honor our contract, or they didn't need me and forced the others, I'm not sure which yet. We are having a lot of union management problems latley. I still have to go to 3rd shift starting Sunday night at 11 pm.
Well, whatever happened at your crazy company, I am glad it worked out in our favor.
That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy....
