I don't like the idea of leaving - too many people to wrangle from one place to another.

(But, I have to add, that I really don't like GW. For me it is a compromise. I don't like the food, the atmosphere, the lack of music, their inability to figure out if they are a bar or a restaurant, etc. I would love it if the old Rockin' Lobster re-opened with better food, better servers, a new owner, etc.)

Or if they moved the PP down to west 7th.

THX 1138

I like GW better than McGoverns, and it's closer to the paper.

Otherwise, I don't care.

bud light presents real american heroes

(real american heroes)

today we salute you, mr. red bull energy drink inventor

(mr. red bull energy drink inventor)

Without you we would fall asleep on our shovels after a long night of doing nothing more then walking around a park drinking Schnapps.

(glucuronolactone!)

After a 6 pack, the clues seem all so clear and easy. Must be the Calcium Pantothenate.

(Vitalizing Mind and Body)

when its cold outside and I'm shaking....I just blame it on my caffine and taurine. I just hope my heart keeps racing.

(you give me wings!)

so crack open an ice cold bud light mr. master of a caffeine high, because as far as we're concerned, we can do without sleep for 12 days.

(mr. red bull energy drink inventor)

ok this one sucked....but Otis should like it...

Diet Rockstar is my favorite. But Diet Redbull works well too.

1 diet rockstar + 3 cups of coffee = very happy hyper vino!

Clue Master

Bwaaah!

That was a nice one. I'm addicted to the stuff too. It's not a cheap habit at all. The cheapest I could find was a 4pk at Wally's for 5.12. Anybody else find it cheaper?
Thu, 12/08/2005 - 12:36 PM Permalink
Love4Vino

Costco $32 for 24can flat. when they run the specials it's 8 bucks off of that.

Costco also does the diet rockstar at $28 for a 24 can flat. I started getting it cause you got 16 oz instead of 8 AND it was 4 bucks cheaper.

Now I'm just addicted to the flavor of the diet rockstar.

soooo addicting. If I don't have x amount of caffine (in any form) by say noon - I have a raging headache.
Thu, 12/08/2005 - 2:00 PM Permalink
OT

I drink a whole pot by noon and often brew another and drink it all day. It's my addiction. But I think there's something else in those energy drinks that makes your heart race, am I right? Or just a higher concentration of caffeine?
Thu, 12/08/2005 - 2:52 PM Permalink
KITCH

for the most part more caffiene and sugar

taurine kicks it up...it acts as an emulsifier and assists in teh absorption of caffiene...

taurine actually has been tested with postive results in diabetes and heart failure...but not sure what the benefits are yet...

and guarana which is just caffeine from the guarana plant...about 3x's stronger than caffeine...

I have the opposite affect - coffee until recently, make me nervous and shakey like the taco bell dog.

Energy drinks don't do that -they just make my pee smell really wierd.

Have you tried the guarana drink Bawls?? it tastes like cream soda - sooo good.

BLAM! BLAM!

Oh, sorry 'bout that :sheepish:

East Side Digger

Alright CM

#1 All guns are always loaded. An unloaded gun is usless, and no one should ever assume that any piece they may see or touch is not ready to fire. Would that we would never again hear the plaintive wail, "I didn't know it was loaded!" Of course, it was loaded. That is why it exists. Treat it so!

#2 Never let the muzzle cover anything that you are not willing to destroy. When you point a weapon, you may not always actually intend to destroy, but you must be emotionally willing to do so. The fact that the piece is not loaded does not alter the fact. See rule 1.

#3Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target. Guns do not "Go off" by themselves. Sombody fires them. The competent shooter keeps his finger straight and outside the trigger guard untill they varify there sight picture. Violation of Rule 3 is responsible for about 80% of firarms mishaps.

#4 Be sure of you target. Never shoot at anything that you have not identified. Never shoot at shadows or sound or a silhouette or anything that you cannot see clearly. Also make sure of what is behind and beyond your target that a bullet may penetrate completely.

I always shoot three shots. It's the only good way to see how tight your shot group really is.

Here's an example of someone who can't control their breathing. Two fairly good shots and then the breath shot.

The sight needs to be slighty adjusted as well, but breathing would be the first place to start. If you can't control your rounds the settings of your sights don't mean a thing.

HAPPINESS IS A TIGHT ONE!!!

I soo wanna go shooting with you...I'm impressed....

but.....you really don't wanna get me into this...

ok...too late...

I'm a little outta shape to control my breathing as much as I could b4....but its also about PULSE...as your heartbeats the shot will also pulse...

but I agree with otis on this one...
