I'm going to let this one go. Hopefully another one will come along.
I was gonna bid on it for Scribe, but by the time I got around to it, it was already way up there.
Gotta hand it to the sellers though, they're smart enough to sell the stuff when it's more sought after.
It's not about the money. It's about having it for my boys.
I need some extra cash 2.
Wonder if it'd be just as smart to get a metal detector and go wander around and see if I can find one that way (heck a metal detector would probably be cheaper than what it's going for anyway).
But it looks like it's already sold out here.
Thanks.
Thanks for the offer. Oh, and by the way, it's for the same grandson who got the Sports Illustrated. He's a HUGE sports fan. He's like a sports maven. He went to a Vikings game with his Dad a couple of games ago, and on the way home in the Vikingmobile, the guys were quizzing him on players, teams, etc, and he knew it all! He's all of 7 years old.
did I somewhere miss the link to what the thingy looks like?
A GREAT place if you are ever looking for any of the cranium games is Starbucks. They usually have 3 -4 different ones and they aren't marked up any more than say at Target or something.
Let me know if you find any.
KC- at least one of the bidders on that coin OWNS an antique store here in St Paul. There are 2 that I know of that bid and buy on ebay and sell at a higher markup at their shops for Winter Carnival stuff.
Scribe knows about them too!
Here's a google earth image of the location. I marked two possible spots, but don't know if either one is correct. I also marked where the picnic pavillion is because it's kind of hard to see. Anyone have any insight on this? The clues said to go 75 paces west southwest from the pavillion, but that would put it almost exactly along the cross country ski trail.
