Funny you guys were talking about flash lights. I just woke up and thought for a second I might have rolled over mine.

But now it's nowhere to be found. :goofy:

I wanna get one of those Star Wars - light-saber toys that Target and Wally World, and wherever have....

whens the last time you saw someone using one of those as a flashlight, during a hunt?

I have two ... er I mean my boys have two of those things...

had a dream night before last --- found a navy dark blue computer mouse blended in hanging on a velvet curtain. --- got the heart pumpin thats forsure

I got the 10 mil power spotlight for christmas, it's bulky but will be good for early hunt scouting missions.

btw, I just recieved a call and the cost to ship my hoe to me is 38 dollars :angry:

This better be one hell of a hoe for 81 dollars, I'm not used to spending that much, I live in Cottage Grove.

I finally figured it out:

geocacher merkong is frogtownkid at PP. Anyone remember seeing that name on any of the old threads? ares, can you search?

Remember, while Highland looks huge, most of the area you see on a map as park is golf course. The area by the picnic tables where it would most likely be hidden was closed in 2005 for renovations. One can still get in and out of there, but I think it should be lower on a preliminary list because it really isn't "open", and they just re-did a bunch of it, making less likely that they want us all in there.

That said, I'm rooting for it, as it's nearby.

Yes, Soucheray lives there. But, we know who is writing the clues this year and it isn't him. Remember who talked to PayMe and Me2 during the flag hunt.

yep...did the summer hunt...but he didn't say he was going to do it this winter....

Soucheray was on vacation at that time.

Don't get me wrong, I hope to god he is writing them, but I doubt it. Remember why he quit? If he is doing it now, it's with a new partner that no one knows. I just think it would be harder to sneak around in his current age/health.

We should be able to tell by the clues.

well if it's boxmeyer I don't think millet is helping him. someone younger, more able to go up that hill at IM.

Yep, remember in 03 or 04 he was in the hospital for the whole hunt.

I really hope they write the clues. The interim writer (KK?) sucked. And, if Soucheray does it now, he is basically an unproven concept. Also, I don't think he wants to write the clues because he is so known and visible.

I would rather have a visible Boxmeyer, who's proven that he gets it, than someone new.

Maybe he can write clues for like the next 20 years and the PP can just stockpile.

And in the mean time, he can have some apprentice that will learn under him.
