Matty B\'s is the home of the Cooler Crew. We\'ve got a party going on every evening from 8 until the clue is released. Sunday night, if the hunt goes that long, the bar will be open but food will not be available.
Recent Clues:
Clue #1 Congrats to the finder, to all a reminder
To hunt hard from first to last clues
Medallion I is history. Now a new mystery
Begins -- strap on your hunting shoes
To some its demented, for all unprecedented
But hunters’ thirst must be quenched
Tell sister and brother we’ve hidden another
In a park where a body can be benched
Our 2nd prize? Don’t laugh -- 10-thou cut in half
So get out there even if it’s snowy
And as a special bonus -- some might say an onus --
A meal with our own Clueless Joey
Good hunting to you, let this be the first clue
Think of a woodsy retreat
It won’t be so hard if you channel the bard
You’ll get warm and smell pretty sweet

that's why we relegated him to the basement
Thanks for letting me lurk. Wish I knew something about your parks up there. Would love to be able to noodle from afar!
Thanks for letting me lurk! I really DO enjoy reading this!
Saw some dude at Central, in camo, east side of the lake, scurrying away from Central Park at about 2:45 today. Looked like he had places to go. Very secretive. Got into a white pickup and took off. Headed south... to the newspaper? Wouldn't doubt we get the announcement any minute.
It was enough to send me to the hotline. No word yet.
I was right on top of it too!!! Again!!!
ALMOST WORKED....
:frown:
I'M SOO HAPPY I HAVEN'T EVEN STEPPED FOOT IN THERE.
NEXT YEAR...YOU CAN HELP...
WE HAVE ALL THE TOOLS TO LET YOU PLAY...
WE HAVE SOME REALLY REALLY COOL MAPS.
GOOGLE EARTH, ETC.
FOR THE MOST PART YOU WOULD KNOW ABOUT 90% OF WHAT WE KNOW.
I'm late replying to this because I just woke up from a nap. I dreamed that I killed someone while hunting in the dark, but they let me go because it was a man and he looked threatening. :worried:
I think my noodle is overcooked.
A couple years ago I donated $10 to your pool for the "after hunt" (or whatever you call it.
Fascinating that ya'll are so into this!
Thanks again!
Glad to see the migration to this site.
Like I said, I don't know anything about how y'all do this, but the City of Roses thing just seemed to obvious to me.
I started google searching "rose" and "plot" and "ST. Paul" -- strange stuff you can find! LOL. Thanks again!
If you see somebody digging on the lake, tell/ask them to get off.
We saw (and yelled to) a couple of guys actually digging on the lake - following footprints, like they might have been left by the hider...
when its clearly marked as thin ice, and there is open water on one end of the lake...
we dont need somebody falling in....
BTW, I love the new perm!
LOL, thanks re the hairdo! So funny to see someone here reading that!
hmm... biohazard bag, and a giant mushroom...
maybe it was a teenage mutant ninja mushroom?
Where I used to work, we manufactured products for the treatment of ED. These devices were for people for whom things like Viagra didn't work...
Anyway, there were lifesize cardboard cutout guys, all named ED, who were all over the building where I worked. Especially when working late, those damn EDs could about give you a heart attack!
Los Barrios still going strong? I'd KILL for some o'their chimmichuri sauce...
That was January of 1985. I had just moved here (had only been here 2 weeks) and it snowed 13 inches. I'm from Ohio originally, so it was fun to watch the Cowboys in their pickup trucks slide down hills, while I, in my little 1977 Honda Civic, drove just fine. Only hit one guard on the side of the road (metal guard, not human).
LOS Barrios still rocks. They actually opened another location.
If you ever get back here, try a restaurant called "Jacala". Very good Tex-Mex food.
Skiing in San Antonio. OMG, that's priceless. I hope you saved pics of that one! Cracking me up!
Hmmm...yet another internet source for next year's hunt?
Actually, I may have folks up there that I went to HS in Germany with. Am going to have to check on this.
Hunting by proxy. LOL.
I'll be down tonight again
LMAO=== wonder if he's the grandaddy of the scary one on the PP boards.
We'll get you here, fur shure!
pRICE is RIGHT.
Street, not park.
"wrong park Dan" strikes again. He's using a combination of numerology and the words of a poem to assemble the GPS coordinates of the exact spot.
north of the aborudem and south of the field would be the wooded area thats runs west/east and is where Alladin Rose Fisk dead end into the park right?
Whites of their eyes kept nagging at me too. I'm starting to think this thing is stuffed inside a potato!
You think he's talking about me? :worried:
You are welcome to noodle with us anytime. Sometimes, someone with a fresh outlook nails something the rest don't see.
And yes Eags...I remember the stories about ED. There were plenty of stories from that job you had.
ROFLMAO!!!!
We need to call a truce and tell him we love him! :goofy:
Of COURSE I remember you dating Ed! LOL!!! I don't think - but Ter and her buttons... - I've ever laughed so hard in my life.
I'll be down to Matty B's tonight
OOH OOH OOH... EDIT JOE!
I wanna be a 50's greaser, too!
