Matty B\'s is the home of the Cooler Crew. We\'ve got a party going on every evening from 8 until the clue is released. Sunday night, if the hunt goes that long, the bar will be open but food will not be available.
Recent Clues:
Clue #1 Congrats to the finder, to all a reminder
To hunt hard from first to last clues
Medallion I is history. Now a new mystery
Begins -- strap on your hunting shoes
To some its demented, for all unprecedented
But hunters’ thirst must be quenched
Tell sister and brother we’ve hidden another
In a park where a body can be benched
Our 2nd prize? Don’t laugh -- 10-thou cut in half
So get out there even if it’s snowy
And as a special bonus -- some might say an onus --
A meal with our own Clueless Joey
Good hunting to you, let this be the first clue
Think of a woodsy retreat
It won’t be so hard if you channel the bard
You’ll get warm and smell pretty sweet

YOU, POSEN, AND IAN ...MOVED SOME SNOW
Or maybe I skeered everyone off with my giant red puffy coat and my big ol' bella!
I really didnt need anybody else seeing me slip, and fall down in the snow :eyeroll:
I found a white cap 3 inches in diameter..
An intertube, a Giant mushroom and signed a geocache.
I say Marley, Me2, Kop and a few more.
No puck though :frown:
I STILL HAVEN'T LOOKED.
I don't remember hearing if they left it there...or determined it wasn't the medallion???
LIONS SHELTER Goes along with the meek link
Where's the Lion's Shelter (heed siren, seek shelter)?
We really need to do something like this here, in San Antonio.
What do we hide? An enchilada? A sombrero? A Spurs basketball?
...hmmm game tickets...
Nah, I like y'all's idea better.
Dinero.
Got home and nick checked the PP boards... Hunter Fred had posted "Part of the afternoon, I spent over near the lake.
I heard someone yell "hunter fred!"
who yelled my name?
Who was too chicken to step up?"
Pic·ar·dy (pÄk'É™r-dÄ“) pronunciation
A historical region of northern France bordering on the English Channel.

thanks for any help you can give me with this!
Good luck to you COOLERS!
Yay, Jake!!!
reverting to previously recognized, nosey, lurking status...
I think I saw about 20 of us out there today. In two different groups though. I'm taping Ch. 9 news to see if a couple of cooler kids make it on there. I still like where we were digging most of the day. There's just too much to clear to let it go. We'll see tonight.
As an explanation, there are a couple of reasons being considered to break with tradition this year. That tradition being having a potluck picnic in the park that hid the medallion.
The first reason is that this year there will be two different parks. Which park do we ultimately choose? Jake certainly provided some history to this hunt season, but the finder of the second medallion is also important to the history of this hunt.
The second reason is that this Sunday's forecast is for bitter cold and windy. Remember Phalen and how incredibly cold it was there? Standing around shooting the breeze is different from moving and digging to stay warm - and children attend this event each year. I for one would feel terrible if we had any little ones with frostbite.
Allison Wonderland has graciously offered the use of his lodge for the afternoon's festivities. Then anyone wishing to go visit the spots where the medallion laid could do so.
Please take time to post your thoughts in the thread linked in the header here.
Thank you!
I KNOW THE CLUES ARE NOT IN THE "PROPER" LOOK...BUT AT THIS POINT OF THE GAME...I'M NOT 2 CONCERNED.
