That's cool Ares!

I didn't feel good earlier either, but went out anyway. I don't think we'll make it to Buggs Though. Poked around Como for a while, it looks good too. I still like BC, IM, Como, and Highland looks ok. Waiting for the next clue, sounds like it'll be a doozie! Anyone else think tonights clue is really gonna screw with us and make us think Phalen?

I think tonight's clue will do something like make us think there is no water around, or that it's in Minneapolis.

one rather large candle. suitable for igniting to burn off a really bad fart :) it really is amazing how well that works! and several smaller ones.

don't feel bad, artemis, i know i'm not gonna be there either. when my ears started to pressurise at the im, i knew i shouldn'ta gotten outta my car. but i also knew me2 would withhold the vital m&ms from me if she found out later about it :)

Good Evening!

Seems like everyone is still in more than one park...and no winner yet.

Just going to hang out for the clue...

Gonna be toing and froing.

Here is today's clue:

8.\09Though St. Patrick’s Day is only a ways away,
Even the luck of the Irish is no guarantee.
The leprechauns have hidden their gold in a secret cache,
But in their tiny deadbolt you may find a key.

And here are the previous clues:

7. Now “Old Hickory”, if you studied history,
Was General Andrew Jackson’s informal title.
Another Jackson may help solve this mystery
But keeping sight of the General’s moniker is vital.

6. The rule of Boreas the King is yielding to spring
And so we’ve reached the end of his reign.
To avoid falling into a useless sort of fling
It’s best to stay within another noble’s domain.

5. Could you be grumpy because your dinner was lumpy?
Maybe this clue is one way to put your mind at ease.
Hidden amongst terrain that might be called bumpy
Consider taking as your guide a group of fir trees.

4. At the treasure’s site you’ll find traffic is light
So you needn’t worry much about carbon monoxide.
But whether searching by day or hunting by night
It’s best to stay near plenty of hydrogen hydroxide.

3. It was not the fate of Pharaohs to lie in barrows
As such a burial was not appropriate to their worth.
But if by comparison one is as poor as the sparrows
Then try looking for something covered with earth.

2. If your thoughts are strewn and you’re in a swoon
And you worry, “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.”
Remember the disc but try changing your tune
And you too may find the stash you’ve been yearning for.

1. The hunt has begun and the shining of the Sun
Hath turned the snows of winter into a big muddy bath
In the parks of St. Paul you’d best be careful as you run
Seeking the treasure that lies off of the beaten path.

the only thing i can think of is that allison bought a deadbolt lock, took it apart, and put the coin inside of the mechanism.

either that or he put it someplace that might be locked :)

I left Buggs at 6:25 and at that point no one seemed to have a firm grasp on the clue except for RushHarley who seemed to believe he had an idea, but didn't say exactly what it was.

Actually someone has figured it out. Now where will it lead them and will they share or keep the treasure for themselves? Hmmmm.....

Meanwhile, I'm going to go run and get some food and be back in about 20 minutes or so maybe if anyone's looking for me.

It must be something obvious that I'm missing.

All I can think of is John Ireland and McGovern's.
