Here is all the pertinent information on the hunt:
The TMK mock hunt will start on Wednesday, September 17, and end on Sunday, September 28.
Clues will be released at 9 pm each night.
There will be 12 clues in all.
The treasure will be hidden on public land in Ramsey County (stay out of the fairgrounds, off the indian mounds)
The treasure will not be hidden in a spot that will endanger hunters (along a cliff, under an electrical box, on the water of a lake/river, etc)
If there are questions or concerns, please try reaching me by email or egram. I will have my cell phone with me, but while I am at work it will be off. I will check messages during breaks though.
Prize will be announced. Donations are welcome.
Hey all, I'm on my brothers computer for the time being. An update on things. Last week my grandpa's brother had some bleeding in the brain area. Things were bad enough to the point where we were planning on a possible funeral. His family was coming in by plane and train and any way they could. Our family has been doing our best to help his family in the various ways we could. Things have improved though. Whereas last week we were thinking today might be the funeral, he is well enough where the focus has turned towards nursing home care. He's not totally out of the woods, but the focus has changed for the better. As far as my computer, my hard drive is basically toast. So I've lost everything on there. I have my clues in a little notebook, so I didn't really lose anything on that front. At this point I will tenatively schedule the beginning of the hunt for next Wednesday, September 24th. We'll have a gathering at Moose Country in Mendota. What works better for people, a 6pm or a 7pm start? I'll give the final okay as to the start by this weekend. I should have my computer back in the next day or two, and if that happens I'm thinking this hunt is a go.
I'll tell Shaggs though... just incase.

Okay, so I do have my computer now, fresh with a new hard drive. I'm still in the process of re-loading stuff I had on it before. I've worked overtime the last few days, with yesterday being my sixth day in a row of work. Now I'm sick, from the change in the weather and all the things going on in my life catching up to me. So I'm going to finalize things and move the start of the hunt back to a week from this Wednesday. And that will be my final move, unless.... well I won't say lest I jinx myself. So we will meet Wednesday October 1st, at 7pm at the Moose Country in Mendota. Thank you all for your understanding and support. I hope you all enjoy the hunt.

cool! we are closing up the camper this weekend so I'll be able to keep up on this one! not sure if we will make it to the bar though, gotta work till 8:30 and then there's that babysitter thing but I'll see what I can do.

I actually won't be there myself. I have an event scheduled with my singles club that night at Brit's Pub in downtown Minneapolis. I still think it would be a good Cooler Crew event if anyone is brave enough to go into downtown Minneapolis.

We won't be coming :( can't find a sitter. Oh well, I have alot of cleaning to do anyway, now that camping season is over I have realized how bad the house is. I cleaned all the cobwebs out of the kitchen last night, YECH! gives me the willies!
LL - they have a restaurant there too -it is not just a bar-Some people wont even be staying late so you probly could bring a kid - I wont get there til just after 7 due to Mark working til 6:45 and I will probly stay until the last person leaves cause that is just what I do ;)
I think I prefer to sit in the restaurant area for more comfort and table space but I will follow where everyone else sits ;) hint hint
there is even an upstairs area that is more private and pretty cool :)
