Here is all the pertinent information on the hunt:
The TMK mock hunt will start on Wednesday, September 17, and end on Sunday, September 28.
Clues will be released at 9 pm each night.
There will be 12 clues in all.
The treasure will be hidden on public land in Ramsey County (stay out of the fairgrounds, off the indian mounds)
The treasure will not be hidden in a spot that will endanger hunters (along a cliff, under an electrical box, on the water of a lake/river, etc)
If there are questions or concerns, please try reaching me by email or egram. I will have my cell phone with me, but while I am at work it will be off. I will check messages during breaks though.
Prize will be announced. Donations are welcome.
Keep Scooby on a leash, have you seen and heard
while around the parks you hunt and roam
you'll have the mystery solved and villian cornered
if with a keen eye you see a caring home
maybe cornered in an area of the park
hEARd and CORNered =
a park with an EAR of CORN
is he saying we need good eyesight to find this thing?
yes, I AM working on that :)
but I happen to love September
Yeah, I think you need to have a sharp eye so I think whatever it is, it will be in the distance.
Maybe it's a cornhole? :)
so someplace caring on the far side of the park
what is around AA park ?
anything near by that is caring? or can you see downtown st paul from there?
I don't know, I can't seem to find my THG anywhere!
Maybe Cornholyo has it in his bunghole
geesh LL -its too late to be thinkin like that
and my kids arnt even in bed yet ----aaaah I hear them upstairs
I should turn in..... in a minute :(
oh-yeah
I suppose I could look in there hahaha
just thought since we were noodlin someone would know...like Dawg or Frosti
Maybe Cornholyo has it in his bunghole
OK, so now we just need to find cornholyo and check his bunghole!
Weida ? intersting thought Reg- you just think that cause I posted it in the 2004 thread earlier today :)
that is what I was looking for ESD
What did they change the old hospital at phalen to?
so would that be considered a caring home? what do they do?
OK - Scooby is supposed to STAY on the leash- therefor it will notbe at a dog park because dogs can run off the leash at those locations...
and 2 in White Bear Lake Podvin Park on 9th Street and Lakewood Hills Park at Orchard and White Bear Avenue near Highway 694.
AW used that place at Phalen in a clue -Minnesota Humanities something or other :)
I am going to bed - nighty night :)

Goodnight noodlers. SCDs!!
Me too :) Night!
I'm not lurking. I'm reading all of the messages. Just got to this one.
Now I've finally caught up and everyone is leaving. Story of my life. How are you Reggie?
See ya.
I think what the cluewriter is trying to say....
oh wait. never mind.
villain was mispelled. my bad.
I'm fairly sure you can't see downtown from Arlington-Arkwright. There is a fenced in off-leash dog park there, but it doesn't take up the entire park. Could be saying that Scooby needs to stay on leash and stay out of the dog park section of A-A.
Phalen and Mounds are both good early guesses. Of course, Como with the pound and the leash reference is the obvious choice. :p
"a caring home". Well now let's think about who's running this hunt. Would it not be logical to think it's a home with a day care sign out in front of it that you can see from the park? My guess is you can also see a sign stating that dogs must stay leashed from the hiding spot.
I created a thread just for the clues. Will someone post the clues there?
Heya Cooler Crew, where are you?
I got a hunt for you now
Heya Puck Posse, where are thee?
The first clue is here now
Come on both of you, I see you pretending you got a noodle
But you're not fooling me, cause I can see, the way you fidget and doodle
You know you got a mystery to solve, so treasure hunters look in Ramsey county
Scooby Doo: Uh-huh, uh-huh
Search land publicly!
And its true its hard to do you're going to have to use your head!
That's what I said!
Like the Ma Press hunt, don't pull a stunt
Don't destroy and don't anger
If I can count on both of you, I know you'll find that treasure
Keep Scooby on a leash, have you seen and heard
while around the parks you hunt and roam
you'll have the mystery solved and villian cornered
if with a keen eye you see a caring home
