vhs to dvd: 16x+/- DVD burner, you will also need DVDR+/-, to record VHS onto the computer you will need a TV card. ATI makes a wonderful card, any of their All-in-Wonder brand cards will do the trick. Anything you find that has coax input will be fine.

Umm- ok, that was the boy. I could NEVER talk like that....'cepting about fishing,

I was thinking about you today when they told us that they are gonna be selecting one of our soldiers here to do the opening pitch for one of the saints games.

I didn't put in for it, but one of our soldiers is gonna do a video first pitch, then their family will do a live one at one of the upcoming saints games. I don't know if this is public info or not, but it sounded really cool...

ok, back to bananas

I did not know this...

headache pain does not come from your brain. Even cutting the brain would not produce pain because it is completely insensitive.

Pain originates from the tissues lying betweenyour skull and scalp.

BROUGHT BACK A CHILDHOOD MEMORY:
From a few posts down on that link...

I remembered when I was a pre-school child I would get in trouble for getting used matches out of the ashtrays and eating them.

I used to eat the matchheads off of matches as a kid but before they were used NOT after -yuk.

This was a perfect example Kitch, I was looking for why my ear tips have been burning and hot lately -along with a dull ache, tender to the touch headache behind my ear (this is the 3rd day for the headache but I have gotten the hot tip ears before)..... I ended up at a website that brought me to a website that got me to this freaky woman. Then I had to figure out what the heck I was doing 10 minutes ago. geeesh

=========================================
I knew that. I've seen (on tv) and read about people drilling holes in their head to releive pressure. You can literally drill a hole in your skull and not even feel it.

And, of course, there's no shortage of scientists who are quick to proclaim that you need a hole in your head like you need, well, a hole in your head.

Notated me2.
I will be nice to all tissue between my scalp and my brain.

For good measure, I will fully respect Kleenex, Puffs, and all other brands of tissue.
I wish them no harm.

I really need to go to sleep- or else I will greet myself waking up.

PAUNCHY Jack Osbourne has made a knock-out debut — as a kick-boxer.

The 19-year-old heavyweight sported an intimidating mohican for the bout.

And Jack — actually 20lbs LIGHTERafter a tough training regime including coffee enemas — floored his opponent in just 3mins 8secs.

He had four weeks to prepare in a muaythai kickbox camp in Thailand, and had star billing as The Beverly Hills Kid for Wednesday’s fight with 38-year-old former champ “The Man”.

Parents Sharon, 51, and Ozzy, 56, flew into sex resort Pattaya to cheer him on.

Tattooed Jack said: “I was mentally and physically prepared. Mum and Dad were cool about it.”

huh?? I'm really confused......4 weeks of training...taking on a former champ??

Zakk Wylde Show Canceled After Incident

05/02/2005 8:59 AM, AP

Zakk Wylde
's Black Label Society show was canceled Saturday after things got, well, wild.

Police on Saturday afternoon were called to The Big Easy, the club where Black Label Society was to perform that night, reported the Idaho Statesman. A police spokeswoman says considerable damage had been done to the interior of the club and witnesses said it was done by Wylde using a baseball bat.

Police detained Wylde and another man, Charles Hurd, for about half an hour. Police say the case was dropped because no one wanted to press charges. Big Easy co-owner Paul Thornton says the show was called off "due to illness." Wylde's representatives were unavailable for comment.

Ok, you beat me to it. There were like 10 of us who did little video blurbs for the game. I think that I was the only one to get creative witht the script...

We were supposed to say "Welcome to Midway Stadium, I am (rank) (name) from (unit) in (city), of the MN National Guard. I am stationed in (city/FOB/base/resort-if in Kuwait/Qatar/etc.-) .
 Blah Blah Blah..."

I said the only thing better than looking for the winter carnival medallion was to watch the Saints win a game (it IS St Paul afterall...)

But I was not the one to do the first pitch, so I am not sure if I will be picked to do the little speech. They gave us like 30 seconds to do it all in, a welcome and a pitch, so who knows... Let me know how it turns out if anyone goes :)
