it is fun until someone is set up with one of those web-sites that bids last minute for them and outbids you 5 seconds til auction close! I hate that.
I don't place my highest bid and let someone else bid me up (my money is to valuable for that, I need it for my kids or other stuff). The person may decide to not continue bidding and you win it, but you pay too much. Wait til the last minute or join a sniper site.
The person selling the item CAN see if you mark that your 'watching the item'. Sometimes I place the auction in my aol "favorites" so the seller doesnt know.
If there is a bid on an auction I will look at the items the BIDDER has already purchased to see what Im up against. I look to see if he bids last minute or will pay alot or bid once and not again.
I always check the feedback of the seller AND how much they will charge for mailing and how far away they are for how long it may take to get here. Always figure in your mailing. Usually if an item sells for a good deal than the mailing may be high. If you decide to pay higher amount for the item keep in mind you still have to pay mailing.
I bid against, and have sold to, a brutal bunch of St Paul history buffs and I sell hott items at Christmas. Even though Ares sold the elmos last year, Im guilty of selling Nintendo DS Lites. Ive learned ALOT!
CM, after you've searched for an item there is a place on the page after you've entered your search that says "Save this search". Then a box will pop up saying "Save as favorite search" and the option of how long you want to be notified if the item comes up again on Ebay. Then you will get an email letting you know whenever that item comes up for auction.
And Ebay will only up your bid $1 more than the highest bid, even if you've bid a million dollars. You aren't locked into your highest bid unless another person bids one dollar less than you. But again, don't place your highest bid until shortly before the auction ends, which in this case is Friday at 10:54 our time.

98 04 CADILLAC SEVILLE RIGHT HEADLIGHT HEADLAMP
Time left: 3 days 23 hours [Aug-24-07 08:54:32 PDT]
History: 3 bids
Your current bid: US $122.50
So tell me, the bid was 112.50 before and now it had me jump to 122.50. Is that because one of the bidders maximum bids was $122 and mine was set higher?
The bid before yours was $120.00. It looks like the bid has to go up in increments of $2.50 because if anyone wants to bid again they have to bid $125.00.
Click on the blue line next to History that says "3 bids" right now and you can see who is bidding and how much and when they bid. Looks like three newbies bidding on this. That's a good thing, because you have coaches. :pbpt:
Just talked to my aunt - she is so amazed and thrilled at all the interest there has been in her book, and the story of how it came into being. The Pioneer Press ran a little blurb about her upcoming open house and book-signing this morning - totally unexpected that they would do that!
Harriet Reil, the West St. Paul resident who published her first book at age 95, will sign copies of "WHOOO - A Tale of the Birds" at an open house from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Faith United Methodist Church in West St. Paul. Reil and her late sister, Virginia Beaurline, first collaborated on the book in the 1980s, with Reil's illustrations and Beaurline's words. Last year, thanks to Beaurline's daughters and modern technology, Reil self-published the book for family and friends. I had another one call me today for a 1998 used one for $540. I'm not too keen on the 'spiderweb crack' in the one I'm bidding on but it might not be worth the extra $340 for a crack. I did e-mail the guy to see how bad the crack is even though he states that it doesn't leak. This is fun. Thanks for your help guys. You might be creating a monster here. :sheepish:
haha- I was just thinking that...wondering if you were thinking, 'hmmm, what can I bid on next' - it can be addicting - my mom has proved that theory :eyeroll:  :frown:
My sister finding my name and adress on the minnesota commerce site for missing money. Says over $100.00. My question is....if they have my adress, why didn't they send me a check?
I was worried that it wasn't legit at 1st and wanted me to submit info. But I am convinced it's for real now that I found it through the states web site and people told me it was on the news that they are looking for people.
Leann Chin. Haven't had it for a while, as they don't have it up here. Was down in St Cloud though this past weekend, and stopped in to have some. It tasted great!
I ran some errands this afternoon and looked out a while ago and noticed my parking lights were on . I had noticed this when I left Target but since they were turned off I figured it was a reflection.
So I drove up to my local mechanic guy and he and his buddies look it over and aren't sure what is causing it. I tell them maybe if we disconnect the batter and hook it back up it will stop. And it did!! :pbpt: I feel very smart.
Thanks you guys. The last couple classes have been pretty hard to maintain that gpa. I'm hoping to go all the way with it, but maybe thats too much to ask for?? We'll see.
only 7 credits to my 1st degree in Facilities Systems, then another semester for my 2nd in HVAC.
Then I can ask Redbear, RR or Cm if they can get me a job.

..asked my mom if she took photo...said nope...told her 2 do that....said will get out today and do that....
my mom said is cooking today to bring food to some of the workers in town...
