It really irritates me that I just read a story about a Golf Course that was just bought by a housing development company. I've got to ask why on earth are they still building or planning on building more homes when right now there are soooo many homes in forclosure and up for sale. I live in a Cul-de-sac with 7 homes total of which 3 are up for sale and have been up for sale for anywhere from 6-18 months and nothing is moving. A few of us laugh in the neighborhood saying it's getting to be like a Ghost Town.
because the developers are idiots... on the other hand they probably got the golf course dirt cheap and are holding it to wait for the economy to turn around.

It won't be a ghost town once the drug dealers and illegal squatters start 'moving in'.
Makes me kinda glad I am in a huge townhome development - there's always neighbors next door even if half the places on the block are empty. Actually we have pretty good occupancy right now - but I suspect almost 70% are rentals because the original owners couldn't sell.
Excruciating back pain that wont go away no matter what I do. :coolfrown: :frown:
At least I think it happened from having too good of a time a few nights ago that involved a hot tub and naked snow angels.  Payback is a b!tch
Next time please try not to encourage the idiot. ty
Getting a letter from Ramsey County about a job I applied for just as I was going out the door to work. Letter was mailed the 11th, I got it the 12th at 2:15pm. The letter said I had to schedule an interview on the 13th (next day) by 4pm the 12th. WTF! 2 hr notice??? :coolfrown:
So I call and end up late for work...Then have to tell work I'll be late tomorrow because I have to work out details of the PDG (liar liar pants on fire).
Luckily I won't have to be late because I finished the interview quickly. But still. They mail it the 11th with a deadline of 4pm the 12 to schedule by the 13th!!! BullSH&%!!
(I think I did ok on the interview) It may work to my advantage if no one else showed up because the mailing was late.
I need to be careful as I usually stay in the same position for quite awhile unless there's room for advancement that pops up. I want to be sure it's a position that I feel comfortable with going forward that will look good on my resume' as well.

irritates: this is maybe more of a feel bad for him. My BF's little guy (3.5yrs old) was so cranky yesterday - he PUT HIMESELF TO BED! at like 5:30. I woke him up for dinner around 7, and he was so sleepy he wanted me to hold him, and then didn't want to eat unless he was on my lap and still didn't really eat much, but hadn't eatten anything since breakfast (wouldn't eat his lunch I guess) and went right back to bed around 8.
Well he woke up this morning throwing up and has been sick all day. The oldest has an ear infection, and the middle one a sore throat.
Link to proof that he chose his honey do list instead if her. Unless of course she meant that he chose to "do" his "honey do" list *over* her. Which would be gross ad we don't wanna see that.
Busting my butt today getting tons of stuff done including taking down all of both indoor and outdoor Christmas decorations. Only problem other than doing it alone with a really bad back was that my huge blow up lighted singing Santa band was buried in a 2" thick sheet of ice under 2' of snow. When pulling it up I ended up ripping a few holes in the thing while breaking some lights on top of it. It's half blown up and melting all over my living room right now. Next year it's going to look like Santa's hood band with all the duct tape that will be placed all over the characters. :frown:
The thing is taking up my whole living room right now with fans on it so it doesn't get moldy making it worse than it was.
So when you drive by those certain holiday displays, please think about the crap that the home owners have to go through to show their friggen holiday spirit.
I think I'm going to start to invest in Grinch decorations next year.
Noone could see it under the snow...just woulda left it til snow thawed more. why not have it in the garage? I never would have brought it on the carpeting. have fun with that.
exactly. i've got a couple of blow-ups, several pieces of holographic decorations, and a boatload of lights. they're all staying right where they are, buried under the snow, until they're no longer buried.
or at least until i can get them out without damaging them. and if anyone has a problem with it, i have one finger on each hand telling them that they're number one.
plus i can always say i'm ahead of the curve for next year
when we take everything down from inside, we're gonna sort through everything that didn't get put up this year and decide if we're keeping it because it has sentimental value or if we're keeping it because we haven't gone through our crap in six years. most of it is the latter, and will be dealt with on a spring-time garage sale.
I didn't want to leave the big blow up display where it was because the girls walk right through that area and there are a lot of built in light bulbs under there. Plus I didn't want either mold, staining or deterioration to happen to it since I've only had it for 2 years. The garage isn't heated so the ice wouldn't melt outside.
I bet a medallion worth $10,000 would ease the pain, and you can concentrate on that 100% now.

Irritates: Hot Pockets that are STILL cold in the middle after 4 minutes of microwaving.

hope its what you want.
No I did not bring it up at the interview. Complaining didn't seem like the thing to do in an interview. :lipsealed:
