I'm still waiting for severance pay from Diamond Products Company since 2005. I'll never see it.
What pissed me off was the state held it against us on unenjoyment checks for a long time as "income". They finally decided that maybe that was wrong and gave us the money like 8 months later.
GEE, thanks...just what I needed when unemployed with no money coming in...
Wakeing up TO MY COMPUTER CRASHED AND NO WAY TO FIX IT JUST YET!!
Because of the HUNT!!! dont have time to work on it!!!
I am so Nut F@#king Pissed right now!!
so now I am on the Netbook!! trying to get use to this little thing sucks!! I hate these things! but it will be nice for the Hunt well at The PP!! to look stuff up on!!
irritates: the backlight starting to go out on my laptop screen. fortunately i can get a new one for about 85 bucks. unfortunately, i've gotta spend 85 bucks for it
on the bright side, i shifted the screen and it came back to life. its either a bad inverter or a bad set of "wires" going up the hinge. fortunately, inverters and "wires" are a lot cheaper than an lcd panel is.
WOW I am having computer problems you are having them ANyone else??? the Cooler is going to hell!! the ones in the group that Shouldn't have problems are!!
Thde backlight switch on my laptop last deployment went out, so I had to store the laptop in the freezer to get it to switch the backlight on.
If it goes out, and you haven't got your backlight fixed yet, you can shine a lamp or flashlight from the side and see the screen... but as you would guess it is not very bright.
the rain this morning. I'm soaken from head to mid calf (thank you sorrell boots) - but have no one to blame but myself, I'm the dum dum who scheduled trucks on the wettest day of this whole storm.
driving to work today the freeway had 6-8 inches of standing water the whole way, it was icky.
Some days are the pits...and today was one of 'em.
Too much work, not enough time, no one else that can do said work. Everything took longer than it should and I could still be there trying to get all that needs to get done...but I'm too frustrated to even think about it.
I got an S.O.S. to go into work tomorrow. I took a week's vacation, but apparently I am the only one with the 'magic' touch to get an ancient printer to work. They want me to come in and do the same thing they did all day today with no luck. There's other issues, too - mainly the other operator that knows how the stuff works is too scared to wiggle a couple wires and try to fix it on her own. Apparently the fear of making it worse overpowers her ability to reason and problem solve effectively.
Go figure. The job we were supposedly done with has a couple 'revisions' that need to be done yesterday, and the whole thing was worth over $35K now so we're kind of committed to complete it. Shit. Pardon my French.
Since Jake is a hot topic (a lot!), I'm thinking of inviting him to San Antonio to help me find the Cascarone this year (if they actually have the hunt this year).
It will be a HE!! of a lot warmer for this hunt in April than during your hunt. May be a little rain, but definitely no snow!
I figure, since I'm new, I should try to capitalize on Jake's success. He could be a nationwide prize finder. (I'll design a medallion if Jake finds it; he might not like the confetti on his head).
I know this is silly, but I couldn't resist. And don't ask me to.
I won't stand up for her behavior who ever it is, however, even friends make mistakes and are not perfect. I'm sure she probably didn't mean it. I hope you got it all worked out :frown:
i've never had a problem with mold, although frosty needs to be blown up this summer and hosed down with some soap.
2nd time this has happen'd to me...
worried as i have a commission check they owe me.
very worried :frown:

Still ticked that I probably won't be getting a W2 for my taxes this year because my old boss is probably in jail or something.
At least if he's in prison I'd accept that as a decent reason.

Having to resort to using someone else's vehicle for a demonstration, and having to cut it short because they had to leave.
Mud everywhere.
My feet hurt.
It is very humid out.
It is still not cold.
I haven't trial packed my stuff yet.
I still have a large tote box to mail home.
I haven't figured out where the medallion is yet.
I can't do anything about it even if I knew where to look.
I am resorting to complaining online.
Okay, I think I am done complaining for the year.
sure you can...just tell us and we'll go get it
I was thinking it has only been at Marthaler once....
I am an answer man - and the answer is "yes, master!"
You know, like a sister or something...
to laugh often and much
to win the respect of intelligent people
and the affection of children
to earn the appreciation of honest critics and
endure the betrayal of false friends
to appreciate beauty
to find the best in others
to leave the world a bit better
whether by a healthy child
a garden patch
or a redeemed social condition
to know that even one life has breathed easier
because you have lived
this is to have succeeded!

This year I told em I would have had to been out looking. I think that threw em for a good loop.
