somthing irking you? pissing you off? rant about it here.

irritates:
people at the poker table who just will NOT SHUT UP!
Don't get me wrong - a nice little chat is fine - make small talk. But the continual yapping "I should'a played, I should'a folded, I had this, I had that, he called that? She played that? blah, blah blah...."
So this person villian, is that their code name on some poker website?
It's odd cuz my husband goes on these hockey fight websites and there is a "villian" on that site. My husband gets annoyed by horrible spellers, and he's convinced that this guy was trying to call himself villain and mispelled it. Good thing my husband doesn't see my posts. :eyeroll:
"My phone sounds crappy" "Can you take this call" "What do I do about this?" "My computer is too slow" "Where did my printout go?" "There's paper jammed in the printer" "Now the copier is out of toner" "How do I look this stuff up in quickbooks?" "Where'd this customer's order go?"
Maybe if you'd learn to do your job, or properly use the equipment, you wouldn't have so many questions and problems.
The person who will take over my "cult" as president charging $30 a head for dinner and then requesting an additional $200 on top of the $100 budget she already gets for "cocktail" hour.
This ticks me off to no end - 33 presidents before her made their installations fun/festive etc - without costing the club - but the "princess" has picked something out of the average members budget!
and the worst part - when ever I try to give her the SLIGHTEST bit of guidance, she crys to everyone that I'm being unfair and attacking her ideas.
Irritates - Getting interim business cards that have the wrong phone number on them. Luckily my old ones were OK and I only handed out a handful of the interim ones. I hope the ones on order aren't screwed up too.
Another reason why I like to do things myself. Only I can make important things important. tag
I gotta crack the whip here, they're walking around acting like regular employees, taking overly long breaks, not showing up..
I busted my butt getting this place setup (I'm sure everyone here knows that) and I have YET to ask for a single day off. It's almost insulting to see temps in here acting like they've worked here for years taking time off for just about any old excuse under the sun.
OT ... where did you get your work done? I had my condenser for my ac replaced last July and now my ac isn't working again. I barely driven the car the last 8 months. I hope there is a 1 year warranty on the condenser if that's the problem.
Ha!...... I just talked to a guy whose had work done there. He said that the owner of the shop lives in Minnetonka and drives a Hummer! (Oooohh la la) Gee, I wonder how often he overcharges to afford that.
It's great that he's done good work for you. My father in law has been going there for years too. But other family members were getting suspicious when EVERY time they brought a car in the bill was around $700. The guy knows that my father in law was a doctor and that my other in laws were a dentist and a lawyer..... so rack up the bill. Although I swear that they are the poorest professionals I know (money wise). My sis in law and bro in law stopped going there but it's hard to convince the old man.
I know exactly what you're talking about. I used to do the books for the former owner. After he sold it I took my car in once for spark plugs and one of the guys I knew came over and showed me the shopping list of stuff that the new owner had determined I needed done. A couple of the things I had actually had done not that long ago and they didn't need to be done again. I called and told him to bring back my car. Just bring it back. And had the spark plugs replaced somewhere else.
But Scott I trust. He makes out the work order and figures the charge and has always been honest with me. I wouldn't just drop off my vehicle there and let just anyone mess with it though.
Lots and lots of people have stopped going there since John sold the place. Too bad too, because John had a good reputation and had built a large clientele I could tell you more, but I don't want to put it out there in cyber space and get sued for defamation.

you guys should know me by now

If it were in my power, and I felt like I could have other people in here to work on monday, I'd tell em all to go home and not bother coming back...
That was soooo insulting I just can't even believe I heard it. And they know how much time I've put into this place.
irritates: the a/c being screwed up here at work. its like there's no air movement in here. ugh.
:0) sorry sweetie.. I have to poke fun tho.
Perhaps you really do need to go home early, for a little R&R. xo
One of the temps was out partying last night, didn't call or show up today, guessin she was probably suffering from a bad hangover....
And today two temps haven't shown up, no call no show. I think they're both done.... good riddance.
Also the phones aren't working.. frickin VoIP...
And the one we found we couldn't place my geocoin there. :eyeroll:
Tough caching there.....REALLY hilly and rugged. All micros near our hotel. No mosquitos though.
Oh well, it's cool for now and he'll apply today's charge to a repair if it doesn't hold.
if I never have to see oakdale park again I'll be happy ---- blah! :frown:

I need to make some contacts with these guys and coordinate their events for next year.
