I knew the Outrageous Fortune clue had something to do with the movie. Honestly, I still don't know 100% what. :) Movie description: "This crime-laced comedy-drama follows the Wests, a trashy family of career criminals, as they attempt to clean up their act and live life on the straight and narrow." West side of the park, or West Side of Saint Paul. Trash. Career Criminals. Not sure if this helps anyone out there. Just thought I would share.
Stuck at work so here’s where I have been, and will return to if it stays hidden. Someone else noted the garages with the local stone retaining wall- there are two. If you find the “visual center” between them and head south you will see a tree (oak?) with a pronounced “v” in the trunk “back with the vulcan”. There is grass over there that’s been picked over but if you move toward the yard waste site you hit a steep embankment quick - I’m thinking the woods over there… who knows tho. This is due east of the tennis courts. As I said been plenty of folks over here.
It would also be GROUND BREAKING to do such a thing.... hide it inside...

Yes, very good points. When I drove by on my way home after work last night, there were lots of spots along st. Clair still not really dug through both inside the sidewalk/street and patches near the sidewalk by the community center. Clue writer might know the sidewalks there generally get plowed with a type of 4 wheeler and that would cover the edge of the sidewalk a lot better than in the open, however I'm wondering if placed in between the sidewalk and street there is the risk of it getting plowed into the street or run over by the city workers. Still crazy it hasn't been found yet. Much better clues than last year though.

I think it's near the Palace Ice Arena too. The clues add up and although I semi went through the trash cans last night, my OCD and general sense of security kicked in and I had to leave. I get the creeps a little searching at night now. The helicopters and drones overhead add a little intensity. I also thought maybe the drone was them checking in on the medallion which made me stay longer than I should have. 🤣
Well this clue certainly isn't what I was expecting. We may well have a Clue 12 where hunters start out in multiple parks. I don't think I have seen that before. Like most people I'm not sure what to make of this clue, at least not in the sense of what one would expect from a Clue 11. Generally speaking, Kaohly Her was a rep before becoming mayor. She represented district 64A which includes Linwood. I'm not sure if she has closer ties to Linwood than that though it looked like she had some campaign activities there. But that seems more like a clue 7 hint to the park than a clue 11 one. The park has some construction going on. They had a groundbreaking on October 20th in the rec center area to do things like add a full sized basketball court, add pickleball courts, and realign some of the other fields. Hard to believe they want you to search there though when construction zones are off limits. Be a dear? Do they maybe mean deer to suggest it is in the woods? Maybe. Though it does say turf which suggests grass. Garbage and trash abound could be a reference to the yard waste facility on the southeast side. There are also a few trash cans around the park. Otherwise hunters are reporting it's a pretty clean park without much trash in it. At this point I don't know. I'm starting to lean back towards the far eastern corner at St. Clair and Pleasant. The Palace Ice Arena is there as well as the yard waste. There is a limestone wall across the street. It's the part of the woods that might be the safest. And I noticed there is a small patch of grass on the very corner of Pleasant and St. Clair. If I was the cluewriter, and I hid it there, it would be extremely easy to check on it just by driving by. Like Kaohly Her, St. Paul mayor,
This park breaks new ground.
So be a dear, search turf here
For garbage and trash abound.
I think it’s saying stay away from the construction area. Be a DEER and look in the woods facing the yard waste site, or rather bound by it. On Tue, Jan 27, 2026 at 11:26 PM Allison Wonderland via groups.io <AllisonWondrland=yahoo.com@groups.io> wrote:
I think it is down by the yard waste site. Garbage is wet household (kitchen) waste and trash is dry (leaves and twigs)- the yard waste site takes both
Interesting noodle, or rather sleuthing on that missing sign. I guess thinking OUTSIDE the box is now in play...Or rather uniquely? Cant wait for the next drop David. Thank you again for doing this BTW Mike Flipp

Any one notice that the railroad clearance sign (14' -1"), South of Linwood on Victoria St. is missing? Google shows one last year and before but in real life today, it is not there!
I'm wondering if the "eye" is the Target pavilion at Harriet. Fun noodling from TN this year. Wish I could celebrate with you all! Stay safe and warm, Rebecca Howell Gibson
Every year I entertain the idea that it's on public land and every year I've been wrong. As I sit at home thinking with sore arms from chopping ice half the day, I'm leaning that way again. Should i have crossed the street? Can't help but feel I'm one step away 😉 Remember, in art and design the visual center is above geometric center.Good luck to all those at shamrocks or keeping warm in your car until the next clue drops. I'm afraid my 8:30am arrival after dropping kids at school will be too late.
I really should buy lindeke’s public stairs of St. Paul pamphlet. Cheers to getting to know another one at Grotto. I always thought a public stairs would be a cheeky hiding spot. Doubtful but cheeky. I don't think the Shakespeare thing has been specifically mentioned although I did allude to it when I posted a paraphrased version of the Hamlet speech that comes from. And Shakespeare come from a town called Stratford on Avon (with Avon being a river), so Avon is the waterway. The bunkerish getaway is Grotto which is a cave. Those two streets are right next to each other so it's probably not a mistake that these two references are in the same clue. I would have guessed even more people at Linwood, though I think people are no longer sure where to look. This is starting to remind me of the Conway hunt. If it hasn't been found by now, I'm guessing it won't be found before the next clue. if so, being in the park for the clue 11 release should be a memorable experience. David B. Allison

Hello! New here. . .
Just got back from Linwood. Big turnout! Probably >100 hunters I would guess. Campfire near tennis courts. On my way home I passed the Vulcans heading eastbound on Randolf hanging off their fire truck.
Did anyone already point out the possible connection between "outrageous fortune," Shakespeare, and Avon Street?
I also came across the plans for the new rec center and sure enough there will be Pickleball courts! The kitchen shall be raised!
