Yea the more I read this clue, I’m thinking it could end up being a little political…he appeared “properly geared”? They talking about yesterday, he had a registered firearm?
I hope no politics involved, but they have in previous years.    And I gotcha now Tom-the “Ice” in the middle of kitchen

yesterday I was at pigs eye hunting near the lake in the woods by the Train hump station. Where the trains roll to a stop, the hump keeps them from spinning. All you can hear back there is the constant sound of brakes squealing on the trains as they come to a slow.

Haha. I thought it was the spot! in the woods by the lake i caught a brake…. Im back to the drawing board after last night's clue. That is a really cool park though, it’s huge.

I think we're talking Pickle Ball!
But I also want you to know I made a little song tonight about the Medallion Hunt
See / Listen to the attached and spread it around if you like it!

Fell asleep waiting for the clue, but here is clue #8

Clue 8

The hunter appeared, properly geared.

Knowing their dink would be praised.

But not quite yet for saying “nice get!”

They must wait until the kitchen is raised.

And the previous clues:

Clue #7

Without much contortion find outrageous fortune

Near this bunkerish getaway

Look for a bird known for the word

Who hailed from this waterway

Clue #6

This is the year we hid it here

Where it was once said to have lain

In the woods by the lake you may catch a break

That may end in a toast of champagne

Clue #5

The prize is massive so don’t be passive

Or let your tracks spin and spin

If you earn your due be it not lost on you

That someday you’ll land the win.

Clue #4

Pack your bag for riches to shag

The game demands your best

No need to be vandal to get a good handle

On how to fulfill your quest

Clue #3

Sitting with pen musing all in ken

Twigs and dolls filled the pages

A flashing demonic offered tonic,

The rhythm of the sages

Clue #2

For this hunt sublime a commemorative rhyme

Cheers the coming anniversary

A third of its history a writer of mystery

Has spun clues using sorcery

Clue #1

Welcome King Boreas, your swag so notorious

It's part of the mythic lore

No need for sulkin we're back with Vulcan

In time for seven score

I kinda of had Hazel Park on my radar (Witch Hazel character). Their Pickleball courts are indoors. I also have been thinking obscurely about Totem Pole Park. I am obsessing over the names of the people in Outrageous Fortune with Shelly Long (Long Lake), or Lauren Ames ( Ames Street by Hazel Park). I have been looking for this thing for 45 years. So close, so many times. I think the clues are so much more obscure and strange which makes me think my obscure and strange. If someone could just bring back the '80s. 😂
