actually, the first thing they teach you about stab wounds in first aid classes is to never pull it out. after all the screwdriver my have hit an artery, and be the only thing that's keeping the victim from bleeding to death. get to the er, let the doctors remove it where they can handle any "uncontrollable" bleeding.
7:41 p.m. 911 caller from Becks Grove Road said she thought her wood stove was moving away from the wall and was afraid that it would fall over and catch fire.
A Columbus man is accused of criminal recklessness after a witness said he fired a gun into the ceiling on December 31.
Randall McCray, 38, allegedly fired the gun, and the bullet went through a dresser in an upstairs bedroom, where a 10-year-old was, according to court paperwork completed by Chief Deputy Mike Adams.
The witness said the shot happened during an argument between Mr. McCray and a woman. Mr. McCray left afterwards.
Deputy Rick Followell said he found Mr. McCray with handgun, and the man allegedly admitted firing the shot.
Prosecutor Jim Oliver filed the charges Friday, January 2. If the man’s convicted, the Class D felony charge could bring a maximum of three years in jail and $5,000 in fines.

I should hope they would call back if there is a fire.. come to think of it, if there's a fire, why wouldn't they call the fire department instead?
