That sounded goofy. I don't know your 7 and 9 year olds...but it's the typical behavior pattern for kids that age.

Well, I thought of them because just yesterday they were bickering with each other and just wouldn't let it go.

I was like, "Just knock it off and leave it alone already".

I walked out of their room, and they started in on each other again.

We did a car vacation when my kids were about that age. It was not a pretty site.

"He's got his foot on my side of the car."

"She's looking at me."

"He/She is copying me."

"He/She has his/her junk over on my side and he/she won't move it."

We drove as often as we could from place to place when they would sleep part of the way. UGH!

GOAL: FIND THE HIDDEN MEDALLION ON THIS WEBSITE

I found it, Jake's holding it on the front page, but seeing as they didn't hide it very well, I'll let them keep their money, they can use it to find better hiding spots next time ;)

They just won't let it go, will they?

Reminds me of my 7 & 9 year olds.

I'm always trying to share my photos, but for some reason no one wants to see me naked.

Any other Comcast users having trouble getting into e-mail this AM?

I can't get into my email either.

I finally got my digital cable box problem straightened out. After a weekend of the picture going out I finally got hold of a real person and it turns out they were sending a wrong code or something.

My Comcast personal web pages haven't been up all day. And yet I can edit them and view E-mail fine. Must be different servers.

I don't use it much either, but it seems better now. (XP remembers my PW) Webmail has always seemed so primitive to me anyway. I DON'T like that they don't let you use your back button when trying to return to your previous screen anymore. I can always do the drop-down but just not the back button itself. I can't stand those sites that try and imprison you.

I can't read my email anyway. They are in the process of upgrading the system.

I found the What Are You Reading thread this morning and went to the library and checked out a book based on a review in there. Now I've found another place to play!

It's a great way to check your home e-mail from anywhere in the world.

Thu, 03/04/2004 - 6:39 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

but it would be nice if I ever need it to check my "real" mail from anywhere. Yahoo does a good job getting all my spam. I don't get any at my comcast mail. I always give out my yahoo one. Even though I always OPT OUT I get it anyways.

Someone told me once to never "opt out" of spam. It only verifies to the sender that you are a valid email address. I don't know it that's true, but I did notice that I got more unwanted mail when I was doing that, and now it has slowed down to a trickle. I also use the "Report as Spam" option on spam. Works for me.

Fri, 03/05/2004 - 8:28 AM Permalink
KITCH

I don't "opt" out on the one's that are just nuts....I usually "opt" out on stuff like "pepsi and radioshack" real biz... that truely don't want to make you mad.

Fri, 03/05/2004 - 8:39 AM Permalink
mrmnmikey

thats what I was refering to. Legit sites only. I never respond to spam or "opt out" and verify my adress.

Agreed. Still primitive functioning though. But handy

I don't get any at my comcast mail.

That's cuz Comcast does a pretty good job of filtering out the spam.

If you check your mail through webmail, you can see the spam that is never downloaded to your PC.

Comcast sorts it into another folder that never gets downloaded.
