I don't know much about St Paul parks, but the four clues I've read are virtually screaming "SHORT HUNT." Or at least not getting to the 12th clue. This year is not going to be a stampede on the last night, IMHO.
glacial river warren falls - drained glacial lake agassiz 10,000 years ago down the Minnesota River valley (which hits the Mississippi at Crosby/HF). The remnants of the glacial falls can be seen at both hidden falls and minnehaha falls.
Crosby Farm Nature Area preserves a natural flood plain area of the Mississippi River. During floods, fish and other aquatic animals gain access to the Upper Crosby Lake, Lower Crosby Lake, and all the pondsscattered throughout Crosby's forest.
The park encompasses 6.7 miles of paved trails, many of which run along wooded bottomlands next to the Mississippi River. Visitors can get away from the city's frenzy in the park's 534 acres of flood-plain habitat.
