Just got back from tending the fire at the Crosby pavilion while my family hunted with FB. We got there around noon, and drove right down and had our pick of parking spots. No one parking on hill then. Now they've blocked off the parking from the top of the hill. Saw the Camo Crue digging in some kind of grid system in the same place the whole time we were there. Four year old grandson and I did a little sledding and a lot of fire wood hunting. The Porta Potty needs TP.
At 3:30 or so they weren't letting any more in. People were parking on both sides of the road so it was causing a traffice jam if cars tried to enter and exit at the same time. I think they're waiting for it to clear a little before they open it again.
guess i still want to say that things are leading to crosby. but one can not just rule everything else out. at least that is what i have learned from the elders! i also think this clue is just leadin us back farther into the park. 'young women or man, while you still can' = hike as far as you can with a heavy shovel til your arm falls off!
the onlt thing about Groveland is that the other clues don't really match up to great

They let you park on the frontage road on the park side of shepard at the top of the hill.
