Yeah, I'm fine with it. Although I have to shake my head at some of the responses. We just can't win it seems.

I'm going to direct them to the COC thread. These questions are for in there. That's why it was introduced in the first place. So we don't take up space in the main thread.

And didn't we agree that the rules were going to pertain to only the main discussion thread and the hunt threads anyway? Then each host controls their own folder after that?

I think that should shut them up fast if they know it only affects the main threads that kids would have access to.

I can only argue so much. I can feel so passionate about all this crap. If they went through it themselves, like if it happened to Scribe or G or someone like that, they would be singing a different song.

I can't say exactly why Nick was banned because I wasn't a part of the discussion. I was discluded.

Likewise I can't say about the vote.

It had to do with the cooler crew forums because the harassment happened in part on here.

You talk about ex post facto implementation of rules. I think what a number of people feel is that there are common sense morals as to what is appropriate and what is not.

I would hope that there is no reason to deal with ex post facto rules in the future. There are rules now so people know what to abide by. Plus I honestly hope that nobody else has to deal with anything remotely like what happened to cause this.

The Sysop gave various reasons for not banning him, which included Nick coming back as various monikers and it wouldn't really accomplish anything at the time.

If there are complaints about the moderators, I would think that there would be discussion about it that didn't include the moderator. Personaly, I don't want to be someone who is above you guys and not take into account what you feel and think.

Moderators are a part of this community. Again, I don't think we're above the community and the code of conduct.

I don't think there is a specific system set up to deal with moderator complaints. That's something we can discuss on here and come up with something.

Why did you decide to step down as a moderator?

Why do you choose to question the decision of the moderators when you had a chance to offer your opinion but chose to step down?

What changed your mind from being concerned about what was happening to feeling that it was not your business?

If you feel it is the sysop's responsibility, why do you not argue with the sysop for them to take action? Or do you feel that nobody did wrong to anyone?

Yeah, it must be nice to leave when the going gets tough then try and save face by being the martyr.

Well, could also probably ask some question about how he's been acting, and if he thinks it's beneficial to his cause or not. Oh well. I'm not going to hate them. They can have their opinion.

If everyone is comfortable with answering Tim's question about the vote - it was unanimous without TMKs.

If anyone would prefer not to make that statement, it could just be the majority ruled and TMK did not have a vote.

Also with the question about who/how/why the rules are as they are, I believe the process included searching out codes of conduct used at other forums and then voted on to bring to the Crew at large for input that would be considered.

Mikey's question about who is on the banned list....

Nick is the only one I know about currently. Is there a reason not to say so?

For the record - I really truly strongly dislike all this.

I counted and said what names are on the banned list. I counted names, not actual people. And for the record, I really hate this either. I feel like I'm the damn villian in all this.

I hope you guys don't mind me telling people some things. I don't want us to be so secretive and keeping things from people. I want to be as open as I and we can be to try and help rebuild some trust and relationships with people.

I think it should be OK for any of us to post what we know to be true as we know it. Otherwise I see it taking forever to get some people's questions answered. We could discuss any revisions in here if needed.
