Okay, if this is the clue, which I have hard time believing, could child's proclivities be a reference to Circus Juventas at Highland.

Dude - hard to tell if youse a funnin' re: whether the clue is fake is or not. Just in case you're being serious - it is the real deal.

I don't think this is the clue, because someone posted the same one as clue #4 on the pp boards.

When I was watching this last Amazing Race - Family ..I thought they were going to be coming to St Paul to go to that very school. They catch flights to MSP...but went on to Monreal :frown: ....close - but no cigar (again)

Hey if this is the clue, besides the Fair Grounds, were there any other spots that the volcuns use to come out of the snow banks to give their speel?

Waiting for the official clue on the PP...

You know every year at the start of the hunt I always get his gut feeling that the PP is going to go out of St Paul to hide the goods.

leaning, propensity

inclination, tendency, disposition - an attitude of mind especially one that favors one alternative over others; "he had an inclination to give up too easily"; "a tendency to be too strict"

It appears that the first half really doesn't say much, other than a set up for the second half... at first

but... in the first half they are referring about the vulcans, as they would tell it to you... BUT the second half is referring to you... So what am I missing in the first half of this???

I hope this isn't the clue- it doesn't chive. It goes from how some bartender got groped to where a kid would play.

Confirmed. PP is posted clue #3.

Clue 3: Ewwwww!

Somewhere a 4 year old is asking his daddy what garters and mixed drinks are.

But "take up."

You "take up" hobbies, take up sports...

Horse shoes, you definitely gotta take those up to play...

Alery's is downtown St Paul on 7th between Jackson and Robert St.

Hey green - no thoughts? I bet you'll have some by morning.

I figured that was the clue. It's part of what the Winter Carnival folks have made no secret about. Face the music, so to speak, about the issues the Vulcan's faced last year, and move forward.

I'm not sure that makes sense this hour of the night, but whatever I mean is hidden in that somewhere - between the lines perhaps?

I'm done in. Goodnight and SCDs everyone!

I went to dictionary.com for proclivities, I had to backtrack and it talks about a prefrence, but I can't see why the PP will keep on going on about what is contained in a park. In the past, it looked like clue 3 was starting to hint things viewable within distance of the location. For Volcuns all I can think of is the bar they got in toruble at, or a fire station. For the child line, its mostly a ride (space needle, rides, zoo) or a school.
