"Warning: Some lyrics may contain objectionable language. Enter at your own risk"
in the lyrics thread since it gets a bit rough in there at times. Any objections?
BTW - Is my avatar considered partial nudity?

1) getting that archive online
2) getting the past archive online in the same way the pf one is
3) scripting a way to archive ableminds for the same purposes.

Don't you think that otis's avitar is a bit profane? (Johnny Cash flipping up his middle finger in the universally understood jesture that translates to an obscenity)... aren't there rules against that? Would like to see it removed please. Thank you TC
I'm not extremely bothered by this one....since he rarely posts in the cooler anymore..
What do others think?
We could removed the post from this folder.
We could ask him to change the avatar.
I'm headed for the sheets. I need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed for tomorrow. I'm dealing with some not so pleasant stuff at work.
I'd like to give three of the four women in the office the third finger and tell 'em all off.
Instead I'm working on finding a better solution. Tiring and disgusting.
Goodnight!
I can't recall how...I've done it in the past...
I'm thinking we shouldn't do anything....for a while...
he changes it often anyways...
why throw fuel on the fire??? are you guys sure you REALLY wanna go there???
how bout two pistols and ten paces?
but with regard to the issue at hand, if we can criticize me2 for her avatar, we can criticize him for his, on similar grounds.
That would be too easy. Hehehehe
So any decision made on this issue of OTS' avatar?
but I'm still not going to "force" him...

So... after re-reading that last entry, I thought about it for a while, and have decided to stay away from the CC forums again for a bit.....
although this time, I have the option of returning, if I want to....
It still doesnt matter....
I'm fucking sick and tired of some of the bullshit I put up with around there, from some people who have nothing better to do with their time, than fuck shit up for everybody else....
I like chatting with the people on there that I consider friends.... but its getting harder and harder, when Ive gotta constantly deal with the kind of shit, from other people, like what went on in a few posts yesterday and the couple of days before-hand..... and on numerous other occasions....
not to mention, what Ive already talked about happening at that last get-together/party deal, with a couple of other people
I'll start determining, when gatherings pop up, if i'm going to go, based off of who else is going to be there, pretty much from now on......
It would be nice if somebody would actually talk to TMK about his actions on and off the forums, and possibly relieve him of his moderator status, as I recall - has been asked for, a couple of other times, but really I doubt that will ever happen.....
It seems that when someone complains about something, its met with much criticism, and then becomes more of a joke than anything....
fuck it... I dont need that kinda highschool bullshit....
TMK has the right to be happy or not.
Nick has the right to not be happy or not.
They both have the right to post here.
There has been some knife sticking in both directions if that is how someone wants to see it.
If something is going on outside this forum, it's not anything we can do something about.
And I disregarded all the rest. It's irrelevant in here. For all I know he was catering to those who visit his blog. I seen TMK's comments as harsh for Nick. But not for the CC. We don't jump on ares & TC for all there lovey dovey bullshit do we?
Love makes the world go round!
You all have enriched my life and I love ya for it...and that ain't no bullshit.
:goofy: :sheepish: :pbpt:
Perhaps some of the things I say do go a bit beyond perhaps what they should. Hell, I could say or do a lot more than what I do. I could go on and on about how great the weddinb planning is going, what we're thinking about for a honeymoon, etc. But I don't. And why can't I be happy and celebrate something that's very important to me and something that I find so wonderful? Why can't I share it? If Nick is bothered, he can put me on ignore. He can chat with people in THX's thread, or in the breakfast club thread. Or he can create his own thread.
I will really be mindful of what I say about my happiness or my relationship, but I do feel somewhat like I shouldn't have to censor my happiness or joy. If I really wanted to, I could make daily comments about Coco and myself. I could make comments about Nick. But I don't. I try to have some compassion. I also look at it in a few other ways. One, he brought it on himself. His actions caused her and I to get closer a lot quicker than we anticipated. His actions also caused the HRO and her not wanting anything to do with him, as well as the stuff that happened on here. I know he claims he didn't do it. He wants to sit here and blame things on me, yet do nothing at all to determine who supposedly is doing all this. Take the easy road, blame me, do nothing to clear your name. He wants to choose that, that's his right. He just has to deal with the consequences.
Its my understand this is not true.......HOSTS can't be ignore... I'm not 100% positive...
but it doesn't matter...I've voiced my views...I'm done with this matter.
me2 put me on "ignore" and she couldn't read what I posted outside the cooler....but was "forced" to read it in the cooler...
that's because i'd jump back. most likely with a curse for the wrath of the fleas of a thousand camels to rain down upon your crotch, whilst your arms shrink in length to prevent scratching
besides, if there's gonna be any jumping on tc around here, its gonna be from me. after all, i'm the one that paid for the ring
Its my understand this is not true.......HOSTS can't be ignore... I'm not 100% positive...
yup. its true. you can't ignore the host of an area, whether it be a folder or a thread. consequently, as hosts, we also don't get to ignore peoples posts in areas where we have host access. its part of the webx design so that hosts can always communicate with participants.
as far as nick. amen, terry, amen cm, and amen kid. the facts of the situation are simple. jason and elissa are getting married. nick can't change that, despite what he might want, and he needs to accept that fact. if he doesn't want to do that, and at the same time doesn't want to read about tmk being happy. then maybe he's better off not being around here for a while.
as far as the few other people comment about the last party, i'll raise my hand and take credit for tc and myself as the targets of that comment. it is, after all, our business to decide with whom we wish to associate and converse. and if he doesn't like the fact that we stick with our friends over him, i'm sorry, but that's just life.
beyond that, like brad said. that's nick's blog. yes, it references these here forums, but we can't have a different standard of posting for tmk than we do for everyone else. we all post our joys, we all post our sorrows. its been that way as long as i've been a part of the group. and just because one person's joy is literally in this case another's sorrow, doesnt' mean that the first person has to shut up about it.
Hence the resaon why I don't say anything about all your goobly goop stuff.
Hey - Did you know that when you highlight over a smiley face it turns into a frown?
its how the color inversion is working with the pixels in the smiley face
i'm finally getting the archive from pf up and online (at the moment, i have the users and avatars plugged into the database). i imagine that in a couple of weeks i'll have the first pass at the pf archive completely available on coolercrew.com (the second pass being something that is searchable). once i'm done with that, i intend to start working on doing the same thing from here. what i'm wondering is if we shouldn't have a disclaimer up somewhere warning people that their posts will be archived on coolercrew.com just so they know. if you guys don't think its necessary, its not a big deal, i just thought i'd throw the idea out there.
after i get this place archiving continuously, in the same format i have pf archived, i'm going to turn my time to the 98-2002 archive. which should be fun, given the complete lack of consistent html formatting on it.
stuff never shows up on google...
