Recent Clues:

Clue #1 Congrats to the finder, to all a reminder
To hunt hard from first to last clues
Medallion I is history. Now a new mystery
Begins -- strap on your hunting shoes

To some its demented, for all unprecedented
But hunters’ thirst must be quenched
Tell sister and brother we’ve hidden another
In a park where a body can be benched

Our 2nd prize? Don’t laugh -- 10-thou cut in half
So get out there even if it’s snowy
And as a special bonus -- some might say an onus --
A meal with our own Clueless Joey

Good hunting to you, let this be the first clue
Think of a woodsy retreat
It won’t be so hard if you channel the bard
You’ll get warm and smell pretty sweet
Clue #2 If you\'re thinking big you\'re sure to dig
Near flora with growing pain
Winter or summer is never a bummer
A menagerie of fun wild or tame
Clue #3 Success on the third clue will never do
We had to stash a second
Round you go if you seek to know
Where swatters of orbs are beckoned
Clue #4: A walk in the park can be a lark
If cell phones are left at home
Heed the siren of your desirin\'
And do not revolt against this poem
Clue #5 Over hill and dale hit the trail
With a handy locating device
Fulfill your wishes like loaves and fishes
And put your victory on ice
Clue #6 A famous singer and a diamond dinger
Might put you oh so close to the spot
With the whites of your eyes you should look for the prize
Within this convenient plot
Clue #7 Don\'t turn up your noses at the city of roses
The home of the park that you seek
It\'s just north of town so come on down
Our hunt is not for the meek
Clue #8 Don\'t go mental just head for Central
Lexington Avenue will show you the way
Your spirits won\'t sag when you see the big flag
Into the trees you want to stray

After clue 5, I'm sold on Central. After figuring out dale and sextant, I figured out the sister and brother. Rose is the sister, and ville is the brother. Remember the first clue or two, were told if its St. Paul or not. I don't see St. Paul mentioned at all in these clues.

Didn't I read someplace that Indian Mounts are off limits because they don't want people diggin up the mounds? I was at IM on year, and its not realy that big.

Then why bother putting the map in at all? It could lead people to believe it is okay to hunt on other golf courses.

Also, this is the second time it has been run during this second hunt. Why?

plot= mounds wow that feels good. lots of clues fit at mounds.

Let me add to why I'm sold on Central. People were hunting at COMO the day it was found. The PP will not hide it in a park where hunters are looking. Wouldn't it be strange if a suspissious person droped something and then walked around with a notepad taking notes on what they see?

OT

IM isn't off limits. Just the mounds themselves and they're fenced.

And that's why I like it. I like hunting in a smaller park.

Because the PP don't want it to be an early clue find. Keep in mind that the treasure hunt, the PP makes money off of the newspapers they sell. People goto twincities.com and use the message boards. Between all the news papers they sell, and the banners at the top of the message board everytime a page loads up = money in their pockets.

Are people getting kicked out of Central.......Anyone know? Anyone?

You think a fenced in mound is going to stop comeone from jumping in, and digging?

I would hope so. But the fact remains it isn't off limits.

Can someone help me with Sister and brother in the first clue, I think its telling us the city in the first clue.

loaves and fishes could be a foodshelf, not the actual program. There is a foodshelf by LSS north on Lexington from the park.

Good God...they should just shut that PP site down, what a bunch of morons!

Not much discussion here for mounds. the pioneer press building is right near mounds, wouldnt it be convient to stash the medaliion with in close distance. they probaly had it hidden before the announced the second hunt, had to do it quick? I really like Central park and mounds, como a little but not much at all,

Re: police and Central Park - I went jetting up there after the PP and there was hardly anybody in the park at all - don't know if the police cleared everyone out before I got there or if peeps found a better site. I didn't see any police cars. Confused.

Gotta remember. it's not the city hiding it and the city is not liable, it's just a buisiness hiding it and the city is not responsible for the buisiness in any way. Just my 2 cents.

Over hill and dale hit the trail

With a handy locating device

Fulfill your wishes like loaves and fishes

And put your victory on ice

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

A handy locating device is either the light that guide in the old air planes or the survey marker at the intersection of burns and English (channnel) and the fish hatchery below along the (brother s and sisters) childs road

whites of the eyee comes from the battle of Bunkerr hill.

the white of your eye is called the sclera. It would not be unusual to really refer to Iris. or othe r eye parts.

the lid of a diamond almond can??

I love the ding sound they make when you shake an almost empty can.

That was funny as Sh#t! We are all walking WAYYYYYYY down into this cervase in IMounds and Red bear has this fork looking thing(see pic thread) and LA mommy is worried about how far down wer're going and he says something like "well at least I go my fork in case we have to eat someone". Funnyiest damn thing I ever heard. We all busted a gut for a good 20 minutes! Hiillarious! If youv'e seen the fork he carries, you'd know what I mean!! My stomache hurt from laughing too!!!!
